I got frustrated using o-rings, etc. on a rolling pin to regulate dough thickness. My first try with my new pin was an apple pie earlier this morning...yes, it did the trick. The weight of the pin was an added bonus over my wooden pastry pin. All in all, it performs as required...I'm happy.

*This should also make quick work of rolling out dough for pizza and spaghetti.

I love this extra-wide rolling pin. I don't use it for fondant; however, it's perfect for rolling out large pieces of dough. The guide rings help me achieve a precise thickness every time. I own several different rolling pins, but I find myself reaching for this one more often than not because it's easier to use and clean. I highly recommend this product!

Awesome Rolling Pin!

Just what is needed for cookie making. Three ring sizes are included for even widths. I just wish that I could get a 3/8 width included. Overall, it is a must have tool.

I bought this roling pin with spacers... makes even dough for cookie cutouts!! And it's so much eadier to clean than my old wooden one.

Awesome baking aid

I like the length of this rolling pin, as well as the weight. It's also a good diameter and feels good in my hands as I am rolling out dough. The packaging says it is a fondant rolling pin, but I used it to make other things and was quite satisfied.

This high quality rolling pin has a very good weight to it and is extra wide - compared to most rolling pins on the market. Although it is specifically for use with fondant and gum paste, it did a very good job on my pie crusts as well. The extra wide length allows you to roll out fondant sheets large enough to cover all but the largest cake layers, which is a HUGE time saver. The rolling pin also comes with 3 sets of rings which allows you to roll your fondant to specific thicknesses. As someone who cannot do this by "eye," rolling pins with guides are such a blessing.  The retail price for this pin is very fair, but I am thrilled to have found it in the clearance aisle of my local Walmart for about one quarter of retail price! It was the only one they had, else I would have bought enough to gift to my baking friends.

Wilton 20" Fondant & Gum Paste Rolling Pin

I was shocked at the size of this thing. I ordered it because the 9" roller I had seemed so small - too small to roll out a sheet of fondant to cover a cake with. But the diameter of my new one and it is so heavy and I didn't realize how long 20" actually is. It won't fit in my decorators' tool chest, but I have file boxes to store cookie cutters and such and I put it in one of those - at an angle of course!

Too large for our needs, but our fault and we never used it.  make sure you realize how long this thing is.
