Great purchase

Yes, it's just a cake pan.  But I bought it because I needed a third layer and had just two of the same 8" cake pans.  First, it matched my other pans exactly, even though the others are over 20 yrs. old.  Second, my others are over 20 yrs old and still doing the job.  The pans are light-colored, lightweight aluminum, which may seem bad (as in cheap), but it means that they're not as prone to overcook the sides of the cake the way heavier, darker pans will.  Also, the perfectly straight sides make for a professional-looking, straight-sided cake.  I have these pans in several sizes and like them a lot.

Just a Cake Pan, But...

Love these Wilton cake pans. A little pricier than other but they perform really well. They conduct heat evenly, are light weight but sturdy. Will get a lot of miles out of these cake pans. Like anything made my Wilton they are top notch quality and if you want cake pans to last a lifetime these are the pans for you

Baking

Wilton pans for baking have never let me down.  I don't have to level my cakes when I use my "hands-off" Wiltons, and I especially like the 8-inch pans for cake height.

I am an ADVANCED home baker of almost 20 years.  I had already owned 3 of these cake pans in 8in sizes.  Been using those regularly about 10 years now.  I recently bought 1 more to make it 4 because I needed a 4 layer cake.  Enough said.

Wilton's products are superior in quality, yet they are lower in price. They are durable & well made. This product does not have the non-stick coating, which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you !

Superior cake pans

Wilton pans are far
More efficient and quality can't be beat. As my mom was a cake designer and cookies as well she would never use anything without it being done by Wilton. I m 68 and my daughter is also a cake designer as my granddaughter is also a cookie designer. We are a long tradition of WILTON cake pans and sheet pan believers and use nothing less than Wilton.

Great basic cake pans, work as intended. Practically non-stick when paired with parchment paper. Only frustration with them was the sticky label on the outside that didn't peel away easily and took a lot of scrubbing to get off.

Great value pans

dent, who buys brand new and picks out the dented one? Not a bad dent and its not for professional baking. Its just the principle of of the thing. Was it a woman who picked this pan? Or a man? Past experience, its usually a man who picked the worst one on the shelf, or the cracked eggs in the carton (am I the only one who looks for cracked eggs in a carton first before putting it in my cart to go pay for it? Don't even get me started on the delivery guy!
