[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wilton cake decorating tip. Easy to use. Easy to clean. You can use it with a ring. Or just put it in a you keep the wide and next to the cake but the slit at the forward. You can wash it in the dishwasher. You can hand wash it. It makes large petals. The instructions say it can make sweet pea decorations I don't know what that is. I made swirls and little roses with it. Overall it worked as expected I liked it it's a new one that I can practice with and it worked really well for someone who is new at it and practice. Some of the tips I've used are harder to use to get them to be correct and this one was pretty easy for me to learn and to master. Overall product works as expected and as desired. It's well made. Easy to clean. Overall I really like it I will practice more with it to try different things.

Perfect for cake decorations and other things

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to make some simple flowers for a cupcake. This works with disposable parchment paper bags that you make yourself and works with regular bags that can be reused over and over, that you purchase in the store. I did make several flowers with it but the edges were not as crisp as I'd have liked them to be. It could've been the frosting I used as well. And not the tip, so I didn't take anything off on the stars for it. Overall, this did what I needed it to do....pipe some frosting onto a cupcake to make a simple flower. I would recommend this to a friend. Wilton supplies are GREAT items to have when you do cake decorating!

It makes nice clean designs and is very easy to clean and use with either a disposable or reusable bag. I used this with a buttercream frosting but you can also use other icings. It takes your cakes, pastries, and more to a whole new level and even just a small design can make a big impact on presentation and a little extra icing never hurts. You can make a whole assortment of different designs from novice to expert! Great addition to a collection of tips.

The tip is very sturdy and durable and fits well inside my piping bags. I don't have any issues with how well it works or holds up in decorating. I've used this tip to make large petals on flowers to decorate birthday cakes. I love how large the petals are and how clean they look by using this tip. It's very easy to clean the tip when finished decorating because it's so large. I cannot recommend this decorating tip more!

Makes Beautiful Flowers

They recommend using a piping bag but I used a large ziploc bag and it worked fine. The tip is dishwasher safe (top rack). I placed it on the bottom rack and it was still fine.
