the Wilton Violet food coloring is wonderful just a dab will do. The more you add, the darker it get, so if you want a light purple, use a small amount. Because when it bakes, it gets darker. at least that's what happened with me and my like purple cake.

i love all the wilton gel or paste colors.  they dont thin down icings.  some colors are difficult to achieve but these do it with ease.

I only use these gel food coloring when baking. The color is always perfect and the saturation of the color is perfect. Very easy to use.

this was a wonderful color for my Mardi Gras cake! each layer eas vibrate and stood out,! thank you 😊

It was a beautiful color but so thick hard to get out and boy it was messy. Got under my fingernails and took 2 days for the color to finally wash off completely and I even used an sos pad on my hands.

BEAUTIFUL COLOR BUT MESSY

Not coloring, it's considered food paste. And it stains everything it touches.  Not impressed only due to item naming.

This product is thick and not easy to use. Mine turned out more blue than actual lavender. Also, it has a funny taste to it.
