Appearance

Can be sturdy, but also prone to inconsistencies.

Hold office supplies and small items comfortably.

Suitable for professional or home office settings.

Can be straightforward, but instructions can be unclear.

Perfect size. The drawers roll smoothly and actually fit quite a bit! Use it next to my sewing table.

I am very satisfied with this product. I was suprised on how easy it was to put together and the apperance of the cabinet since I was planning on useing them for my craft room. Very happy with shipping.

Great storage

Went together nicely... took about an hour... I put all the drawers together first then put on the drawer slides on the sides of the cabinets. Looks amazing with my black desk and file cabinet.

Went together very nice. Exactly what I needed

Great inexpensive storage cabinet. Takes about an hour to assemble - use an electric screwdriver! Once assembled, it's solid and attractive with five rolling drawers. Great in the office as a printer stand!

Great storage cabinet.

We were fortunate to be able and acquire a very nice Horn of America sewing table for my wifes Bernina. But the companion cabinet was approx $500 !! The Halifax 5 drawer cabinet (white) was truely the perfect substitute. Holds and organizes all of the extra sewing acoutrements. The drawer sliders operate smoothly and evenly. No issues with instructions, assembly or parts. Money well spent !

Works Well with Sewing Table !

Very worth-while. Unit is quite heavy but of course that is what also makes it quite sturdy.
Assembly. At first, the instructions look a bit overwhelming (mostly pictures), but after looking through all instructions, and beginning step-by-step it was not difficult. In a few places the "fit" was not perfect, but when all is assembled this does not affect appearance nor functionality. Be careful not to over-tighten screws as the composite material can split fairly easily, especially attaching drawer rails to drawer sides which are quite thin.
Drawers operate nicely, are easy to remove and insert, yet have a good "stop" so that you do not accidentally pull drawers out too far.
Over all - very pleased, and might even purchase another one.

Great for organizing office items

I just finished assembling this cabinet, so I wanted to give my review while its still fresh in my mind. After I finished assembling everything, I would have to say I am happy with this cabinet. I actually expected it to be a bit bigger in size, but that was my fault for not carefully reading the dimensions. So for me, the value of this cabinet was average to fair. It is very stylish and looks great in my opinion, and looks great with the rest of my furniture.

A few things I want to point out. The back panel came a bit damaged. One of the corners on the back panel was bent, and broke off. Not to the point where I was going to have a hole in the back of my cabinet, but it got me a bit worried that it would cause some issues when it comes time to assemble the cabinet. Thankfully, it turned out ok. Also, the metal drawer rails appeared to be slightly bent, and I thought that was going to be an issue. But it worked out and I guess that was by designed. I freaked out a bit when I saw this and almost wanted to return the cabinet due to the damage to the back panel and the bent drawer rails. But again, it turned out perfectly fine.

Overall, this cabinet was not hard to assemble. Just a bit tedious and time consuming. I did wish the instructions were a bit more detailed, and the parts were labeled. So be prepared to look at the picture or diagram and figure out what part is what a few times before you figure out what is what. There are a couple of steps where the intructions recommended extra hands, but with some time and patience, you can do those steps by yourself if necessary. What I would recommend is have one person assemble the 5 drawers, while the other person assembles the main cabinet. Instructions have you assemble the drawers last. But by the time I finished the cabinet, someone could have easily assemble the drawers if I had the help. It was easy, just time consuming. All you need is a phillips srewdriver to assemble this cabinet, but I would recommend a drill if you have one. Again, overall not hard to assemble, just took some time to look at the photo/diagram, make sure you have the right parts and get it going. One last thing I want to mention...Im the type that will cut corners at times when I dont believe missing a step mattered. When I got the cabient and drawers assembled, and got the drawers actually put in the cabinet, I was not happy on how flimsy the cabinet was. I ended up re-checking all bolts, screws etc to make sure everything was tight and secure and I couldnt figure it out. Just thought it was just a poor design. The very last step is to install and screw on 4 "Gusset" to four corners of the back panel. I did not do this, and didnt know what in the world a Gusset was. Never heard or seen it before. So after sitting back and thinking about it, I figured putting these 4 Gussets would only help the overall structure of the cabinet and should help it from being so flimsy. And boy was I right. The cabinet feels very solid now, and not flimsy at all. Overall, im happy with the cabinet and hope this review helps someone.

A good cabinet overall

Excellent packing precision manufacturing. Nice product but we did have the binding drawers issue. Finally figured out why drawers bind. The composite wood of the product is fine except the ends of the back of the drawers is rough. When you assemble the drawers that roughness tends to make the backs of the drawers wider than the front thus causing binding. A little sanding or very fine trimming problem solved. As I said very precision so the extra 1/16 of an inch causes binding. Other than that not the best wood products but price is good goes together easy. Be careful not to over tighten screws. ( there are 75 of them). We are pleased.

Binding drawers solved.

I bought four of these to go under a piece of countertop for a desk. The first one I opened had a damaged back panel and one drawer which couldn't be put together at all. The holes and grove were drilled and cut upside down. Boxes 2 -3 all had similar issues. 4 out of 4,boxes all had damaged parts in some form. I expected that they would be pretty cheap, but i didn't expect damaged goods to be sent to me. The bottom of the drawers is dissapointing. It's a piece of cardboard. You really can't store anything but a piece of paper in these things. I wouldn't purchase these again, I think I would have spent extra money on ones made with better material.

They look good but are really poor made

I was excited when the packaged arrive since it was heavy, suggesting the wood content... I spent a few hours follow even the direction carefully (not too complicated but a lot of screws to screw). I was very disappointed to discover at the end that the drawers do not line up correctly and bump each other when closing. Also, the white surface chipped easily throughout the process. I will try to return it even though it is already assembled.

Heavy drawers of poor quality
