Actually, I like this product, even though there is a problem with it. The top shelf is crooked. The only way to adjust it would be to put new holes in it. I'm not going to bring it back. The shelves will work for the purpose that I want to use them. They can be fixed, though I cannot fix them.

doubtful

walmart.com

I use this in my office at a school where I work. It holds all of my binders for payroll etc, which are big and bulky and since we are limited on space is fits in a corner between my desk and the wall and I only had 15 inches.

Works perfectly. I am going to buy another for home.

The shelf was nice enough but it was split when I got it, so I returned it. It was also alot smaller that I thought. I was thinking that there was more space between the shelfs there was only maybe 9-10 inches. I wanted it to store my 12x12 inch scrapbooks didn't work for that and it was broke so I returned with no question asked. I wish they would give you those demensions on the stats of the product.

nice but broke

It comes 85% assembled for you, all you have to do is add 4 screws and you're done! Looks great and feels "beefy". I love the way it looks in my room.

Pros: Easy assembly, price, look, feel and slim size
Cons: None (but watch product size, it is a little on the small size but it was exactly the size i needed)

Great product!

Ive purchased this product twice now. I don't remember the last bookshelf being so difficult to put together, however, this one was easy until I had to instal the top shelf. The bookshelf simply folds outward and the shelves unfold (all but the top shelf which you must install). You screw in some support brackets and then pop the top shelf in. The only issue I had was trying to squeeze the top shelf in. I wound up having my boyfriend take a rubber mallet to the shelf to squeeze it in so we could screw in the support brackets and be done with it.

Now that it is finished, it looks nice and is stable. If we hadn't run into the issue with the top shelf this would have been a perfect shelf... although seems it could be priced a little lower.

Mostly Stress-Free to Build

This is a really attractive folding bookshelf. Assembly is a breeze - just a couple of screws and you're all set. The dimensions work well for storing different sized items. The wood looks great and has a quality finish.
My one concern was the cost. I would have expected this item to be priced at $50 or less. I've seen a remarkably similar line of folding shelves at another retailer and their 4-tier shelf of comparable dimensions and construction sold for $49.99 - but they didn't come in black!! Overall I'm happy with the purchase but just disappointed that the Walmart didn't put forth the most competitive price.

Very nice bookshelf; a little overpriced

I bought this to serve as a componet stand next to my wall mounted tv and window it fit perfectly because of its small dimentions it was very easy to put together it was practically assembled! I am pregnant and it was great to have something this easy to handle , nothing fancy it worked for me.

easy to assemble

It fits really well in the living room. Good colors and sturdy futon.
Cons:
1. The back piece still wiggles a little despite tightening the heck out of the two nut and bolts.
2 The nuts and bolts are in general quite a pain to screw together. I've built many furniture, this was a first.
Have fun at it.
3. the back pillow sinks so you end up leaning on the metal frame real soon.
But overall, it is worth the trouble b/c that is the only one at the price with the two seperately flixble arms.
I had to use this a sub. bed for an entire week and it was comfy, albeit small.

nice folding options

I would not recommed just anyone to put this
shelves together, you do have to have some knowledge of carpenty, when i put the shelves
together, had to do some adapting to get it right
whom ever made the shelves did not make them correctley, one shelve was to wide, had to cut it to the right size. to make it fit.
Looked ok when i finished it. but it took some knowhow to do it.

my opiinion

It's alot smaller than what I have hope for but it does look nice in my office room. So far it seems to hold up, well see how it does by the end of the year. It works great for some picture frames and small decorations.

It is okay
