Provides sufficient depth for larger items.

Can be straightforward, but instructions can be unclear.

excellent product! Looks great, very sturdy, folds up so easy to move. Plenty of room and height of shelves for larger books. The assembly is easy if you use an electric allen wrench or even one on a handle. If you use the allen wrench that comes in the kit--it's a miserable job! Learned that one the hard way when assembling my first one. I bought 4 and am very happy with them.

Sturdy, attractive, easy to move

walmart.com

Bought this for my son's (13) room to match his well made bed that came from a good furniture store. I was very impressed with the quality and it looks as though it is part of the furniture line that his bed came from. Went together pretty easy and quick...the tool they give you in the box is cheap and will strip, but we used our own tools and everything was fine. I ordered a second one and the matching desk!

Great Solid Wood bookshelf!

This bookstand met and exceeded our expectations. The hardwood is solid; it was put together with ease; and it folds for storage and transport beautifully. It easily accommodates an assortment of college textbooks. Other folding bookstands do not offer the top shelf (mantel). I highly recommend this product.

Sturdy, well-built bookstand.

Easy to assemble. Great look. I like that it can fold up. Only issue was that one screw split the wood as soon as I started screwing it in place. Otherwise, excellent product. The size worked great because I wanted it to place on my dresser. Small room, must stack things up.

great product

The shelf is fairly sturdy and easy to fold for storage and transport if necessary. It is pretty. Assembly was very difficult for one person because the folding pieces kept folding on me. I am older and my hands don't work as well as they used to so the Allen wrench was awkward and hard to turn. Once assembly was complete I am happy with the product.

Nice shelf; assembly takes 4 hands

This bookshelf is perfect for where we want to put it--in our camper. We wanted something lightweight and foldable, and this works perfectly. There was a little bit of assembly, but not much. I would buy it again!

I love this bookshelf!

Nice to buy something made out of "wood" not some pressboard kind of thing it's wood but it's not! Quality was excellent; easy to assemble and looks nice!

GREAT TO HAVE SOMETHING MADE OF WOOD

This was so easy to assemble that my 9 year old put it together! Holds all my children's books nicely and has fairly deep shelves to accommodate those "longer" kids books. Very pleased with this item!

Very happy/looks more expensive than it is!

There were two holes partially drilled in an exterior leg that should not have been there. The fingerjoints used to build the board stock was not filled prior to sanding and finishing resulting in unsightly gaps and voids. Wood plugs to cover screws are undersize and will not stay in place. Three spindles are cracked from either inproper mounting or checking. They required gluing and clamping prior to remounting.

Recommend that one use soap or other lubricant on the screws before attempting to assemble due to the aggressive threads and under size pilot hole. Allen wrench stripped on second screw.

Low quality workmanship

I liked that they are very portable but they came damaged at the top where the hinge screws in and they split the wood . Also the wood has visible zig zag from joining and distracts from the bookshelf .

All wood but quality control missing on them.

Winsome 82427 Mission Bookstand foldable solid wood 3-section shelf with Mission-style side panels and straight legs in natural wood finish. Overall 26"W x 12.3"D x 42"H assembled; each shelf 22.8"W x 10.6"D with 12" clearance; rear crossbars visible; folds flat to 25.9"W x 3.4"D and often used as a plant or display shelf.
