I bought this almost a month ago, but just got it put together last week, I was disappointed to find several scratches on the sides, and a couple areas where the paint scraped off...however, because it was just for use for my sewing supplies in the den, we decided to keep it as is. However, while the sides, to and bottom and shelves fit together perfectly, the back did not fit well, and was extremely hard to get in place (either a fraction too wide, or too thick to fit in the slots !) My poor son hurt his hand trying to push it down...using a hammer to knock it in place would have broken or damaged it .
