Solid piece of furniture.  Beautiful hardwood seat.  Assembly was good except for the top.  It was difficult to push the round seat into the stool base.  The legs simply don't line up completely and you have to force the legs into the hole.  It was a bear of a problem.  If you have hammer the legs in at a certain angle, it gets doable.  I really think it should be shipped completely assembled as like the other stools from this manufacturer.  I really dont know why they chose to do it this way.

Beautiful stools but the assembly maybe trouble

I bought them for my shooting bench they do a great job little timidating at first but once you start putting them together they are simple and fit good.
