Sturdiness

Putting Together

The bench was easy to put together.  We have it in the front entry for sitting to put on or take off winter boots, and it looks good there, but it could be used anywhere.  Small children could sit on it at a low table.  The inside is almost four inches deep so it's useful for hats, scarves, gloves, etc.  As someone else said, it does look like a baby piano bench.

Love this little bench!

We needed something short and narrow for our mudroom while we figure out what built ins we want. This was easy to put together, great warm colour and fits perfectly (accurate dimensions). Looks a bit like a piano bench and very solid

Super sturdy bench.  We were looking for something small to put by the garage door.  Easy to assemble.  Liked that the top part of the bench came preassembled.

Sturdy little bench. Snap to put together, hinge a bit stiff.

Perfect size for small wall

Very nice item, esp. for the price. Arrived well-packed, with all parts and hardware needed. There are three main pieces:  the top assembly and two leg assemblies which you dowel then screw together.  Solid wood top, legs and sides, beautifully finished, with a small but decent-sized storage area underneath the hinged top (approximately 23" long by 8-1/2" wide by 4" deep).  The top holds up by sturdy hinges.  Easy process to put together--took me about ten minutes once everything was out of the shipping box.  In addition to 8 wood screws to connect the leg assemblies to the top, there are 8 one-inch-long dowels which add to the stability of the bench, plus make putting it together very easy as the dowels hold everything together while you allen-wrench the screws into position.  I recommend it.

Quality little bench

well made solid wood furniture.  The one draw back is lthough it's the same manufacturer and finish as other furniture I've purchased, it's not quite the same stain colour - this has a more orange hue.
