It's sturdy, looks good, and easily holds a lot of jackets, etc. The only issue was that one of the hooks on the very bottom row did not tighten up properly.  i dont know if it was bent, or the hole was not lined up properly.  But that really won't be an issue as it won't have anything heavy on it anyway,an umbrella, lunch bag perhaps.

This coat rack is suitable for everyone in the family with the variable height hangers. Many hangers. Very easy to put together. Sturdy and looks great. I was worried about ordering it after all the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. It also doesn't tip easily like other ones.

Ordered this on line and was not really sure what I would be getting. I am very very pleased with this coat tree. Outstanding quality and easy to assemble.

I purchased this coat rack after all the reviews I had seen on it. The price was very reasonable, and I liked the overall look. I did notice a few reviews that stated pieces did not match up (or) holes were not drilled properly but mine was just fine. The only thing I noticed was the pre-drilled holes (for the metal hangers) were a little bit off (making the hooks lean to the right instead of straight up and down) and this might be how the hooks are suppose to look, but I wanted mine straight up and down. Easy fix, the coat rack is solid wood and the screws were self tightening, so make your own "new" hole location and "presto" the hangers are now straight up and down (like I wanted it) The best thing about the pre-drilled holes is that it gives you location were to mount the hangers. Each hanger has 2 holes and screws (self tightening) use the bottom screw (or) left side to set the proper location and re-adjust the top screw (or) right side to adjust the angle desired. Overall, this is a nice looking (dark walnut) coat rack with 9 hangers (Beautiful Silver Tone) and you can't go wrong with purchasing it!

Exactly as pictured.  Very nice mahogany colored finish and substantial weight to avoid tipping.  Very pleased with this purchase.

I really like this coat tree. My boyfriends winter coat is really heavy and the large hooks are strong enough to hold it. The lower hooks are handy for dog leashes etc. It was easy to put together and it's very sturdy and doesn't tip

Very sturdy and well made. Solid structure and several hooks provided for hanging several coats and items. The base is made so that the coat tree always stands straight no matter what you hang on it.

After assembling the coat hanger, we realized the upper hook section did not have holes for the hooks to be screwed into. For the amount of time it took at assemble this item and then disassemble and return it, it's not worth the money or your time.
