these 2 cherry wood stools are a fantastic buy. They need no set up, just take them out of the box!! They have swivel tops and feel extremely durable. They look great and for the price, plus the free shipping, you could not ask for a better deal (if you did you would be dreaming!)
I can not tell you how many years they will last, we just got them, but they feel very sturdy.
Also, I must tell you to be sure to measure the height that you need as these are a couple of inches taller than I expected for our counter. They still work but are taller than many stools offered in comparable price and style ranges. No regrets, these are wonderful.

Barstools come fully assembled and look great. Before I bought these online one review stated they appear 'much more expensive looking.' I thought I'll be the judge of that. They ARE, though. Ideal counter height and look so good.

These stools arrived already assembled and without scratches nicks from shipping. The swivel apparatus for each stool works easily. We ordered four for our counter top bar area and are very satisfied with our purchase.

Great stools and excellent value.

These are great stools and seem sturdy. But, they are on the tall side. I know the measurement says 30" and when I put them under my counter, they were too tall. I pulled out a measuring tape and it actually measured 31.5". I sadly decided to return them since I had no use for them. Nonetheless, they're great quality for the price.

Great stools

Bought these for use with a small, wall-mounted Ikea table in a cramped breakfast nook. Light natural finish matches the table's finish and stools fit nicely under it when not in use. Only small quibble is one seat doesn't swivel as easily as the other, but perhaps it will wear-in with time. Overall satisfactory purchase.

Handy, nice appearance, sturdy

I bought two pairs of these stools for our kitchen island. The bottom of the island is 32" off the floor, so these stools are the perfect height. They look great, and feel sturdy. They also came fully assembled, which was an unexpected bonus. My only complaint is that when they swivel, they're awfully loud. Not a big deal usually, but when the room is quiet, it's really noticeable. Overall though, I would buy them again.

Great Value!

I had 2 stools at work That had to be replaced so I bought these   They are a little to tall I wish they made something between 24 and 30 inchs these are well made and sturdy goood buy

Nice

The only drawback with these stools is that the swivel bearing for the seat bears on wood not metal which means that over time the bearing will wear into the wood and the seat will no longer swivel.  I took them apart, added a metal sheet to the top and bottom of the bearing, and reassembled.  They swivel much better now and hopefully will have a longer life.

Price is right but...

These swivel stools are a great quality for the price- nice smooth swivel and durable construction. We've had a set for 2 years that lasted fairly well. We just bought two more to match them, and my only complaint is that the wood used to make them is very soft. It dents easily from buttons in pants, scratches against the seat, etc. The two older stools are pretty obviously marred, and the new set seems to have some deep dents already after just a week.

Had to return these because the color was more of a cherry finish, definitely not espresso as listed. Nice stools and they came assembled- wish they would've matched other furniture.
