We ordered two of these stools and have been very happy with them. They were shipped quickly, came well packaged, and were simple to put together. The company even sent a few extra pieces of hardware. The stools are sturdy with no wobble and they look great!! We would definitely buy these again.

Nice Sturdy Stools

walmart.com

I looked at several online stores to price compare this stool (I purchased this in Walnut). Wal-mart was at least $10/stool cheaper than everywhere else, and there are a lot of places that sell this. I'm pretty impressed with the quality, they look nice, they were fairly easy to put together -we did use our own ratcheting screwdriver with hex head insert, which made it much easier to assemble. This is my second time ordering furniture from wal-mart.com and I would do it again.

Looks good and cheaper than other sellers

I it it high love that. And it could be ordered as one bar chair, which was cool. I'm 29 inches in height was cool for height easy to get on and off.

Janet

Sturdier than I thought they would be. You need a ratchet with an allen wrench head. Your hands will be sore if you use the enclosed allen wrench and will strip the heads trying to tighten them. I needed extra seating around a bar for when family was visiting and for it to be easy to store away. These fit up under the bar out of the way when I don't need them

Good value for the money

Bought 4 of these for use by the kitchen counter, as the counter was low and there was not much room for a full sized chair. They turned out great and I would heartily recommend them.
Assembly was not too difficult but I would recommend using a towel to protect the assembly surface (my table) and using a socket driver with hex allen wrench to tighten the legs, as the supplied little hex wrench cannot be turned 360 degrees. Another issue was that the foot rest bars would turn while tightening the screws. So I recommend using a large crescent wrench (with pad to prevent scarring the wood) to hold the bar straight while tightening the screws. The supplied wood plugs (to cover the screw holes) seem a bit too small as several went below the surface. I added Dugan 3/4" black nylon slider guides to the bottom of each foot so the stools would glide easily and not mar my wood floor. I had trouble finding nylon back slider glides locally, so I search on the internet.

Solid Product and Great Value!

I had been looking everywhere for stools for my new apartment. Finally found these cute saddle stools at a decent price. Did the site to store shipping (kind of regrettably since the customer service line was long and no Walmart employees seem to be able to do basic math) and got them home.

Yay, this is where the fun starts! My boyfriend tried to put them together while I was at work. There is no way you can put these together without two people. It is very difficult. He tried for hours.

I finally got home to help and by the end, the tools included with the purchase had stripped everything and it was getting extremely difficult to tighten the last legs. In the end, one of the horizontal legs can't even be attached correctly and looks a little weird if you really look at it. Not the HUGEST deal, since these were a low price... I wasn't expecting top of the line. Oh! And we put ours on a carpeted area, which is good- since the legs are uneven and wobble if placed on a hard surface.

Overall though, they look good in the apartment. They work well (for one couple in a small apartment who has other seating as well, and isn't constantly using them). Basically, I got what I paid for, and I am satisfied with it.

Cute Stools, Two Man Job

I've built tons of furniture over the years, mostly from Ikea, whose parts all fit together well and whose instructions are mostly very clear. The instructions with this chair were awful. All kinds of arrows and directional lines that made the instruction sheet look like a corn maze. And the issue brought up by other reviewers about the screws easily becoming stripped is a nuisance I encountered too. The end product though, aside from the screws I couldn't cover with the little black nibs provided, looks and feels nice. And this chair was 1/2 the price of a very similar model I saw in furniture stores, so the value for me outweighs the disadvantageous aspects.

Looks/feels nice, but really hard to assemble

the price is a good price. The product itself has some problems. the holes the screws go in are not or do not line up well with screws. You can warp the screw trying to tighten it down. you have to be really strong to do this and it takes a lot of time to build them. But once put together the chair I strong very heavy duty stool but the product the way it's manufactured and the tool provided make this a difficult build. It's up to you. If you can afford a better chair with lesser hassle of manufacture issues like this one had I would recommend another. If your looking for a good deal but willing to work through the wood tool screw issues it has then this one is great.

50/50

The stools look good, but they do not stay together. After a few weeks, all the screws started loosening repeatedly. Now it's to the point they have to be tightened almost daily. Have tried gluing them together, using additional washers.... Nothing works. They are useless until we can find a way to get them to stay assembled. I would not purchase these again.

Get ready to retighten the screws over and over..

Worst stool I've ever bought. The screws had to be tightened every single day. Sometimes twice a day. I'm a pharmacist and have to use it for accommodations. It finally broke after only 3 weeks of use. You can even see how tilted it is in the photo from how loose the screws became after tightening them 3hrs before.

Worst stool ever.
