I love this bookshelf!  It's very sturdy.  I would remove the books to move it so it doesn't compromise the strength, but it is a perfect size for this wall.  It has such a beautiful finish. I would recommend.

Great little shelf for my son's room

I purchased this bookshelf for my son's room.  When it arrived it was a little heavier than I thought it would be (when I was ordering I was more concerned with the dimensions so I didn't pay attention to the weight).  It is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture - real wood with a nice finish and a nice color.  It was not difficult to put together either.  When I received it the box had a gash in it, but the shelf was undamaged.

Does not disappoint!  Nice quality!

Materials were well packaged and parts unblemished. It took about 30 minutes to put together. Nice solid wood construction. Lightweight but sturdy. It was exactly what I expected from the description. Holds a lot of books.

Nice solid wood bookcase

The shelves were heavy in the boxes, and there was good reason - these are SOLID wood from Thailand, and not cheap particle board which are available everywhere. They are a GORGEOUS amber-honey colored and look terrific in my living room (I just moved to the country yesterday.) So excellent are they, I'm going to order two more. Two people are needed for assembly, but it was super easy, just an 'L-Wrench'(provided). You can't go wrong with these bookshelves!

Excellent for YOUR room(s)

This is the second one of these shelves that I've bought. The wood is pieced, which can be seen if one looks closely enough, but it is solid and holds up to a shelf full of real books.
The directions say to have a helper to put it together, but I'm a gimpy 64 year old and I had no problem with the construction. There are only 16 screws....that's it.
Now I actually have matching book shelves on either side of the entertainment center in the living room. Wish Walmart had more furniture to match them.

Sturdy product

First, instructions stated (takes two people), I did it alone and I'm 63. There was one drawback, one of the screws for the top would not go through. We are currently living in an apartment because of a house-fire and do not have a drill; so had to leave as is. Also, the little "buttons" that cover the screws don't all fit well. Other than that, I really, really like it. I have one more to put together.

Excellent bookcase - great size and design

It's sturdy and fairly attractive in a plain way. There is plenty of room for tall books. Be aware though that it is more yellowish orange than a true honey pine color. Mine came with some damage to one side brackdet and the top and the manufacturer promptly sent replacements. The color of the replacements were darker than what I had so they sent me a new unit. This is a very good company to deal with. They stand by their product. Very good customer service and I will shop from them again.

we like it but I should have read the size better   I wanted a wider/taller unit  but it
will do    be sure to read the dimensions yourself    would buy from Walmart again

nice bookshelf

I purchased two for night stands in our bedroom. Easy to put together. I did both in about an hour. Made of solid wood, heavy and sturdy. Very sloppy finish - uneven, areas not done. I had to look at each shelf and try to decide which side looked ok to face up. When both sides were terrible, ended up using it for the bottom shelf because books would cover it up. For the price shouldn't need to do this. Also who ever drilled side holes pushed too hard which splittered chunks of wood out. Solid wood but poor craftsmanship in rushing to finish and drill ruined them both. Only kept them because they're the right size in our room and company wouldn't see them. Would have returned if used elsewhere.
