Value For Money

Display Quality

Can be seamless, but may also be unstable or slow.

Installation guides are hard to follow and comprehend.

Offers clear highs, but may lack bass depth.

this product is exactly like Google CarPlay. There's many ways to connect it with your phone, including Bluetooth, aux, C charger port through cigarette lighter hole... I personally chose it because I'm riding in a 2006 Volvo and I'm used to newer cars so it's huge switch up.... personally, for me the first adhesive of the black round circle held up very nicely and stayed in place. It was very hard to peel up. However, the stand itself did not want to suction to that piece. It suction better to the dashboard itself. Once you lose the stickiness, I just recommend buying a new stand for $10(ish) they say that you can wash them and use them over. I haven't tried it. Certainly recommend it.

Super easy installation

walmart.com

The installation was pretty good and straight forward. The product delivers.
Initial setup took few extra minutes, once it's setup correctly, it works like a charm!

The sound quality of the Pentantan car stereo is not good, so its better to integrate with the car music system,

Easy install, works great, good value for money!

Bought this on a whim as the price was really good. Must say I am pretty impressed with it. Easy to set up. I haven't set up the backup camera yet as the instructions aren't the greatest but I searched Google and found the info I needed. Will install it soon.

Very nice unit and excellent price

I've always envied my wife's CarPlay feature in her car, but I was also ambivalent about it. I tried various apps to simulate the CarPlay experience until I found a device that allowed me to install CarPlay in my old truck at a lower price. Now I'm totally in love with it. It's easy to operate, functional, and wireless. You can't ask for more.

Perfect device

I wasn't expecting much for a car stereo under $200, but it does the job. Apple Carplay works as described though I had some issues detecting the iPhone XS or 6S but that could be attributed to the condition of the lightning cable. You would definitely need to use the lightning cable from Apple. Capacitive touchscreen works well. Only issue I see are that the radio seems to go full blast whenever you startup your car and the instructions can be a bit confusing if you have never installed a car stereo before. Instructions states to connect ignition switch and the power supply together from the included wire harness from car stereo, but the adapter wiring harness for the adapter had those wires separate so I did not follow through with that step. Overall the car stereo works well.

Suprisingly Good Product

I use CarPlay to connect my iPhone. The Bluetooth connection is very stable and responsive, with little latency. It's very convenient that it automatically disconnects when I want to switch to MirrorLink. I wish I had found it sooner!

Great CarPlay Screen

It was easy to set up for the music part of it. I have not set up the backup camera yet, but I still want to it hooked up to my phone well but sometimes after turning the car off and then turning it back on depending it won't hook back up for a while, but that could be because of just my car and I don't have that on the right settings or something. I'm still working on it and messing with it but I really like it so far. I like the touchscreen and I'm sure once I get all the settings correct it'll work great.

Great product for a good deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I'm very into music and sound quality. I'm not big on technology, although I'm fairly good at it. I'm using this in my 07 Ford Escape, and it does what I need it to do. I got this supposedly on sale for $39.99 marked down from $199.99. If it was any more than $40, truthfully, I'd probably return it. I tried using the wireless auto play numerous times, and it's a very unstable connection. Plus, you have to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time. Which for some reason disconnects my internet. I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy only a week old, so I can't blame the glitches on my phone. Using the data cable included makes communication to my phone stable. Sound quality is excellent even with my stock speakers, although I'm going to order some new speakers which should enhance the sound even better. The description on Walmart.com claims it puts out 240 watts, which should be 60 watts a channel, but the owners manual says 20 watts a channel. I haven't installed the backup camera yet, but I will, and I'm sure it will work great. Which is a bonus since my suv doesn't have one stock. All the cables and mounting brackets were very high quality and sturdy. Manipulating around the home screen and switching different modes is fairly difficult, but this is only my second day of using it. Hopefully, it will get easier the more I use it and get more familiar with the device. Overall, I'd recommend buying it, but only at the price point I mentioned.

Beware

This product says it can be mounted to the dashboard however after just 2 days it came off the mounting stand and I noticed it had melted on the back so to the sun hitting it ….do not recommend this product

Very poor quality
