Ease Of Installation

Looking at a LOT of cord covers, I quickly found that there is not a variety of colors in this item. I was a bit nervous at the idea of painting plastic, but quickly found that it wasn't a problem; took the paint like a charm. Had to use a hacksaw to cut it to length, and that, too, wasn't a problem using a miter box and saw. Almost seamless blending in with paneling color. Great product.

Media Center Cord Cover

walmart.com

After the task of mounting my 65" TV onto the wall I went with this thin cover unit. I didn't want to get involved with trying to channel all the wires/cables through the wall via big holes. Nice also that this comes in 2 pieces where you first mount the base to the wall then the cover snaps on or off if you like to add or remove cables. Blends well with the wall and can be painted to match your wall color.

Easy way to hide all your cables

So easy to install! Held all the cords for the connections we needed & once the cover was on, I painted & it's hardly noticeable! Sure, you can tell it's there, but if you don't want to try to run wires thru your wall, it's AWESOME!

Great to hide the TV cords

This was exactly what I was looking for and very nice for the price. It was very easy to use and looks amazing. I haven't decided whether to paint it the color of our walls or leave it white. It looks sharp either way.

WORD OF WARNING!! once you snap the cover on it is pretty much there to stay. We tried prying it off and couldn't so make sure you have included all the wires in it before snapping the cover on. It is challenging to feed new wires down through the sleeve but it is possible.

Easy to use

great for my needs

so much nicer than seeing wires/cords all over..

looks good..purpose accomplished

This is the second unit I purchased. I had to buy the second because I purchased a shorter TV and had cut the previous one. This unit looks good painted the same color as the wall.

Works as advertised

The product works well the instructions are not good. The wall anchors need a pilot hole and the instructions say to just screw them into the wall. The cover took paint well.

Good quality cord cover

I strongly recommend this product especially when a tv is mounted on a wall where there may be a considerable number of electrical wires or if you are no sure of such. Here's my only other suggestions:

1. It's not mentioned in the instructions, however, I made a pilot hole to install the nylon screw that were provided. It's nearly impossible to install them w/o a pilot hole. Just be careful about going all the way through gypsum board for fear of damaging any wires!

2. If at all possible paint the cover to match the adjacent surface color. It adds a clean finish look to the product. Apply a min. of (2) coats of paint as directed.
