Can be soft and smooth, but also sticky or crumbly.

Remains fresh and usable for extended periods.

It is dry and crumbly straight out of the container. BUT, we added some coconut oil to it and it softened right up. I wouldn't give as a gift to another family for this reason, but perfectly fine for us once doctored. I like the container it comes in that can be used to play with the playdoh too.

the green one along with the orange, purple and blue are all dry and does not stick together

It's hard and already dried up straight out of the container. crumbles into 1 million pieces when you try to play with it and can't do anything with it. 3 yr old daughter was major disappointed and walked away from it. Huge waste of money for the price when play-doh is only $.50 a jar.  Leaving this on every color I wasted my money on.

Don't buy.

Although the thick plastic containers can be repurposed to use with other types of clay as rollers of textures, the container is not airtight and despite the advertised "no dry" the clay itself crumbles and becomes unworkable, even when adding a small bit of water, trying to kneed, and letting sit for hours.

Don't bother wasting money

literally don't waste even a penny! it was so dried out when my child opened it who was so excited to get it! it crumbles apart the no dry out is false advertisement

worst thing on the market

Dried out when opened. It was a gift for my kids for Christmas we opened it  and every pack of playdoh we opened was dried out.
