Metal bird feeder

Seems to be living up to its press; yes the squirrels have not figured out how to get at the food. Sure hope that continues. I can see they have been staring and trying to measure up and figure out how they can get at the seed.  But, so far, they have not succeeded.

Good quality bird feeder.  It really does keep the squirrels at bay.  If they try to get in it their weight causes it to close. The Birds love it.

all aspects of product have what we wanted as a backyard attraction for our feathered friends....great expectations await...amusing to observe our squirrels evaluate how best to exploit  ;)

If you have chipmunks raiding your feeder this one will keep them out just seen it with my own eyes while their cute I don't want to feed them.
I just saw one trying to get in, feed door shut and he eventually fell off I am happy.

Chipmunks will have to go elsewhere for food.

So far this is a really good feeder. It holds alot of seeds and is very well made. My squirrel has not been able to figure it out yet, he keeps trying but always falls off. The birds are getting use to it.

It is very well made but if you think this is squirrel proof , you've not met the squirrel that is constantly figuring how to whip his body underneath to eat from the other side. When it closes there is a line of food that it in front of the ledge so he eats that and wants more he then get his paws around the open part of the closer and can then eat freely on the other side.

The Squirrels figure it out

We've had the feeder for about 9 months. This definitely keeps the squirrels out, but I also feel it deters cardinals. The weight settings are not very precise so keeping the squirrel off seems to also mean cardinals can't feed either. Or else something else about the design deters them. They used to feed off our deck at other feeders that the squirrel would empty quickly but they're not coming to this one.
