This baffle creates a protective barrier around your 4'' x 4'' post by preventing squirrels from climbing up the post and pilfering your bird seed. The sturdy 22'' diameter unit can double as a predator guard keeping some raccoons and other predators from entering a bird house. To use simply wrap the baffle around your existing 4'' x 4'' post and secure it with wood screws through the welded brackets. This unit is easy to assembly and fits well on a 4x4 mounting post that would hold, say, a wood duck box above it.  We've had six of these in place for four seasons now with no weather wear that we can see.  However, be careful if you want to use a riding mower around them...  We managed to dent a couple of 'em by riding too close.  Our bad, not the product's fault, for sure.  The ducks have raised young in the boxes above them and we've not experienced invasion from squirrels, snakes, raccoons, etc.  Good, dependable product that does what it says it'll do.

I have put one of these on the pole that holds 4 bird feeders and it has been great.  I bought this last one for a 4x4 post that holds a bluebird house.  Last year raccoons or possums took the baby birds out of the nest 2 different times before they could hatch.  I think this will solve the problem.

I received a bird feeder with camera for Christmas and I'm mounting it on a 4X4 post.  I was needing a squirrel baffle that would fit the square post. This is perfect!   Nice and large and very well built. Arrived very quickly from seller.  Would highly recommend.

Hubby put it up in under 5 minutes. All the hardware is included. The color is nice{green). Squirrels in my yard cannot get to feeder using this!! I would recommend it.

Not only did I receive this product super fast, I have found it to be made of great quality material. I put it to work right away. It has been great at not only keeping the squirrels out of my bird feeder that it's on but, has also saved the lives of many birds because the cats can't seem to get around its large and slippery diameter. We are getting to enjoy the birds and get laughs at the squirrels and cats. It comes ready to use with precut and drilled places for placement. I highly recommend as we have already purchased another one.
