Costs more than similar products in its category.

I've had a similar bird feeder by the same company for about 15 years. I had to replace it (finally) as the plastic tube was getting a bit brittle from so many years in the sun and our extreme winter temps. 
The cage keeps most large birds and squirrels out, but won't keep out the smaller red squirrels. 
Easy to fill. Nice capacity (not too large),  and I notice this model has nuts holding it together so I will be able to dismantle it to clean it super well.
The only downside is that my model had 2 small steel washers on the top over the lid, which are designed, I think, to keep the lid down, but make it harder to open the lid. We just cut them off easily, as they are very thin, and all is well!

A good value as this one will last for many years!

Great for small birds

We love this bird feeder. It allows all of the small birds to access the food while keeping the starlings and grackles away, however the bluebirds are not able to get in or are afraid to. :(

Excellent bird feeder.

Absolutely love these birdfeeders!  I was having a hard time keeping the blackbirds and starlings away from the sunflower chips I was putting out in other feeders for the bluebirds.  These birdfeeders allow the bluebirds and other small songbirds to enter the cage, sit on the perches, and eat. The blackbirds and starlings are unable to enter these feeders.  They are perfect!

Absolutely Great Birdfeeders for Bluebirds!

Great bird feeder for small songbirds. The cage is just wide enough in diameter to prevent the blue jays and starlings from getting at the feed. Red squirrels would be able to squeeze in, but with a baffle on the pole where the feeder hangs, they're prevented. A bit expensive of a product, but better than other stores. With the money saved on feed not going to the bully birds, I think it will be worth it!

Keeps the jays and starlings out!

This is a very well made feeder, which has solved my issue of larger birds bullying the finches and other small birds.  Delivery was quick and I appreciated the delivery notification and safe arrival.

Excellent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love it , I just  added a clear plastic place on the bottom of it with tires ,little baby birds like to stay on the  bottom  tray and eat the seeds, safe form the bigger birds.

This feeder looks nice and is very accessible for the smaller songbirds. It does a great job keeping the "bully birds" out. I love it so much that I bought 2!

Best feeder ever!

I love the way this bird feeder looks, and it's easy to fill, but not as many birdies come to feed from it like my other one.  Perhaps this feeder is designed to attract different types of birds. I still like it a lot

Bird cage feeder

This feeder is sturdy and as advertised. However, it is of no use to deter squirrels. The squirrel gets right inside the cage and eats the food and keeps the birds away.

Nice feeder, no squirrel deterrent

It lasted 1 day. The squirrels were able to open the top of the feeder and chew through the plastic tube, making it worthless. The plastic tube will no longer close and the squirrels now have a free supply of seeds. Or HAD, since the feeder will be returned.
