Grizzly

One improvement might be an approximately 2" L extension shaft, to allow for more room when measuring between the table and the cutterhead on a thickness planer.

Rotacator

grizzly.com

I bought two of them to set up my planer tables. They were very easy to use, and best of all, they had magnetic bases.

Satisfied

This Rotacator was well worth the cost, very precise and easy to read and use.
Having a second one will be needed for faster leveling of my 20” grizzly planer.

Accurate

Right tool for the job. Larger head for roller makes it a lot more handy then my machinist indicators

Right tool for the job

Excellent for setting height on planers. Very easy to use

Exact Height measurement

Great tool and precision however instructions on device, its features, and descriptions on each parts function can be improved. I had to look up how to use and play with for a bit to get the concept. Bascially better instructions need to be produced.

Great tool

oh, my gosh. My life just got easier! You can not verify or adjust your planer with out this little baby. If your sanity and maintaining your Christian witness is important to you, then this is for you.

It makes trueing a planer a lot easier. Just move it to spot to spot and adjust

Very useful tool.

Bought two less than month ago and one already froze up. Think Grizzly is replacing it, but you need two to do it well.

Worried about long term durability. Wood

Grizzly Customer Service

Instructions are weak. No explanation as to what the knurled knob on top of dial is for. I see in the photo, it shows a smooth knob. I was trying to figure out what the one on mine did, and ended up twisting if off, as I believed it was just put on too tight. Good for the rollers on the bed, but a real pain for doing the blade and rollers. The block of wood and feeler gauge method is way faster, and just as accurate. It is basically a really nice magnet.

Really nice magnet....
