The dog itself is made of soft material but her limbs feel firmer so she can stand and pose. The outfit is super cute and I think a little girl would enjoy dressing her. I appreciate that her face hair has a hairspray feel to it so maybe it would keep it from getting mat and worn looking. The size is decent not too large that it can't be carried but not to small that it doesn't feel like a quality gift to give. I think my niece will love her and will want to get additional outfits.
