The WorkPro 16 oz Rubber Mallet is ideal for tapping tile into thinset, as well as many other uses. The solid rubber head is specifically designed for minimum bounce when striking and will not mar surfaces. The slightly contoured hardwood handle provides a comfortable, firm grip.It has a chemical resistant tough rubber head that prevents marring or damaging surfaces when striking.  It features both a black and white head for use of multiple surfaces without leaving marks. One side is non-marring and the other is plain black rubber.  Lots of uses around the home or the garage.  Don't be scared to whale away.

It was easy to handle and the handle is comfortable. Love the hook at the end to hang up. I saved a lot of soar fingers using this. I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rubber mallet is nice. I have used it to help set some large format tiles. Tapping the tiles own with the white end of the mallet prevented any marring of the white tile. The rubber is hard and doesn't have much give so it gives a nice firm impact. The handle is long enough that you can get a nice swing if necessary without much force. 16 oz is a bit heavy, but it just means less force is needed to get the job done! I would recommend this mallet!!!

Handle and head are secured well and I don't have any worry when swinging this as hard as the job requires. I wish the handle had a little bit of grip to it, as the wood finish is very smooth and I can see some people getting carried away and letting go on accident.
