it's pretty good for the price.  i did have trouble with the last update i did.  as soon as it completed it suddenly couldn't recognize the ink cartridges that were installed in it.  they were new.  no matter how many times i took them out and put bank in it wouldn't recognize them.  has me scared to do the update its offering now.  also now every time i hit print it tells me to see if the paper loaded.  and won't start until i manually go to the unit and hit ok.

Nice little printer for the price. Clean printing, fairly sharp colors. Fairly fast printing also.  Set up a breeze.
Bought it on very short notice as I had a project to finish and my HP crapped out on me.  So needed immediately, inexpensive and delivered in an hour.  Mission accomplished. 

Only a couple of hiccups.  

1)  Printer is a bit on the plastic side, especially the paper catcher.  Sacrifices need to be made to hit the $80 price point.  It is definitely not a heavy use machine. 

2)  It is also a thirsty little thing.  I have had less than two weeks and had to replace both the black %26 cyan ink already. Definitely ink usage made me give it 3 stars. The Epson ink is pretty expensive too, for the amount of copies. Epson really pushes the need to use "their ink only", but the cost for a refill pack of all colors is almost the cost of the printer itself.  Need to look into non-Epson refills. If they screw it up, only out the cost of two Epson ink packs.

Overall a decent little printer for occasional use. Not an everyday heavy use machine.  Thus, the three stars.  Purchase with open eyes and know what you really need in your printer.

Epson WorkForce WF-2950

This printer is slow in printing %26 please make sure you order back up ink. The ink that comes with this printer will run out about the tenth page in printing. After all the up date %26 run thru of making sure printer is set up, it will use up all those ink cartridges. This printer is just cute.

Bought printer . Worker nice at first but had to change ink after 6 sheets. Paid $30 for replacements and after changing out it say new yellow is empty. Won’t reset. Ordered more ink while waiting decided to return only to her warranty was over in 28 days

Do not buy this product or other Epson printer if you plan on buying other ink brands. The latest firmware update blocks all ink brands that are not official Epson. I just brought ink about a month ago and it worked fine until the printer done a firmware update about a week ago. Now my non-Epson cartridges will not work. I have always brought Epson printers but I will not be buying them anymore. Oh, they have made it so you cannot roll back the firmware from there site.

Epson now only works with Epson ink cartridges

Runs out of ink extremely fast! You can only print a few pages then you are out of ink. You can only use Epson ink to replenish it. No other versions even if designed to be compatible. You will spend more money on the ink than the printer is actually worth.

Out of Ink Fast

Compared to the cheaper hp printers ive owned this thing doesnt even match that. From the setup its already had multiple issues like saying the paper is jammed when theres no paper in there, when it goes to print the paper shifts when pulled down and thats an issue sometimes too. It runs through ink insanely faster than my hp. Ive owned this thing 3 weeks and i use it daily for homeschooling. I will never touch an Epson printer again, i just wanted something a little better than i had previously.. nope. Cheaply made junk.

Took forever to install. Worked for one printing session of about 100 pages. Lost the connection or something after that. Would no longer connect to our internet. Could not get it to by any means. Husband not able to fix it. Have not called or "contacted" the company yet as husband is too ill right now to fuss with them. Printer is sitting on desk, a useless piece of junk. I wish we had not wasted the money on it. Would never buy another printer from this company as they are unreliable. We have another printer by this company, as an aside, that will only print with my computer. Don't tell me that the problem is with his Windows 11 computer because that would be Windows fault not ours. Makes me irate to think that we wasted this precious money that is not free flowing in our household. The printer is cheap, but the cartridges are not. What's new. We could have lived with that, but it won't even hook up not. Uninstalled it, by the way. Waiting for another day for the attempt to reinstall or find professional help to do it. Ironic isn't it that we will have to pay more than the piece of junk is worth to get it working, and who knows it that will really be a fix. There you have it in a nutshell. Good luck if you buy this dust catcher.

Won't connect.

If you buy this printer DO NOT EVER update the Firmware!!! It will become a glorified paper weight if you use a compatible ink cartridge from a different manufacturer. I bought both the printer and ink from Walmart and immediately after updating the firmware the printer stopped printing. I am NEVER using Epson Again! At least HP has a way to allow the consumer to use what they like in their printers once you own their printers.  Lesson learned! Tossing both EPSON printers out as we speak!

DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE!!!!

Honestly, the only reason why I do not recommend this printer because it cost you so much money in the long run is because you cannot print and just black and white if the other colors are depleted so even though you have, let's say halfway black in cartridge it still won't let you print in black-and-white. So in my opinion, that is a complete waste and in the long run cost you way more money.

I have always had issues getting a printer to hook up to my phone where I can prin i have always had issues getting a printer to hook up to my phone.  So when this one initial installation, it hooked right up to my phone no problem and I am tickled to death over that. I've never had such an easy installation of a printer ever. The printer copies are very clear crisp colorful, easy use is great. The only downfall I can say is that printer ink is too expensive because it says that it will not allow you to use generic. So I ended up returning the printer because I could not afford the ink.

Printer is awesome if you're not on a budget
