I recently discovered Preen's extended-control formula, and the longer-lasting coverage means fewer applications, which is a big plus. So far, it's been effective.

I also have chemical sensitivities, and this hasn't caused any issues for me. Living in Central Florida, where weeds are relentless, that's especially important. I plan to keep using this formula.

Tough on Weeds, Easy on Me

I used this for the first time and was surprised at how well it kept the weeds down.  I liked it so much I purchased more and used it in other areas.  Great product!

There are no weeds here!

It's over priced. Not just a Wal Marr but everywhere. Good product works fairly well but does not prevent all weed growth. Been using it for a number of years with about 70% reliability.

Preen and no weeds seen.

I initially didn't believe this product would work like the 20 other things I've tried to eliminate weeds in flower beds but WOW THIS PRODUCT REALLY WORKS

This weed preventer has been a Godsent for an older lady.  I used to pull weeds for hours when I didn't use it.  It lasts long and the weeds are controlled.  It costs a slight bit more but it is worth it.

Preen extender weed preventer.

Great for keeping weeds down! It works but isn't 100 percent effective - nothing is for weeds! Pretty good price. It's my go-to for spring.

KILLS WEEDS BUT DOES NOT COVER A LARGE AREA TO WELL NOT MEASURED ENOUGH TO TELL HOW MUCH YOU ARE USING

GOOD WEED KILLER

The preen extended control really works. It controlled my weeds for about 9 months. Just used it a second time now that spring is arriving. It should last all summer.

Controls weeds 9 months

I've always gotten the 3 month control preen and saw 6 months and jumped on it, it doesn't work. I have baby weeds popping up left and right s as though I used nothing at all. Totally disappointed, I was so excited about it too. The regular preen has always worked great for me with 1 or 2 floater weeds showing up which is super manageable. Stick to what works folks.

Get the regular 3 month control

With all the extra safety precautions over the 30 day version, I would stay away from this version of Oreen and stick to the original 39 Preen that does not have the additional chemical.
