Small by design, still packed with power. The Worx MAKERX Rotary Tool with Brushless Motor fits nicely in your hand. And without an onboard battery pack, it’s lighter, so you can work longer without feeling the fatigue in your arms or shoulders. Yet, with a brushless motor you still get more than enough power to engrave and etch, grind and sand, cut, polish, and clean. The variable speed control lets you pick just the right amount of juice for the job, which you can control right from the Hub. So for different materials and different types of work, you can find the speed that works for you. And it’s fitted with the common collet size of 1/8”. It can work with all standard collet sizes, so it accepts the bits and accessories of all the major brands. Get the MAKERX Rotary Tool and start engraving glass, wood, and metal. Cut off protruding bolts, grind rust off iron rails before painting, sand children’s toys, or polish a brass nameplate while it’s still mounted.

The Worx MAKERX Angle Grinder with Brushless Motor was specifically designed to be slim and easy to grip yet with more than enough power to cut thin sheet goods and aggressively carve out complex shapes and contours. Cut pipes for wind chimes, make a wooden card holder, refurbish the glass on those foggy headlights, cut guttering or siding in place, or shape copper sheets for ornamental pieces. This disc grinder accepts all 1.5” wheels with ¼” butterfly-style arbor, and 2” wheels with a 3/8” arbor, even wheels from other brands.

This kit comes with the roomy and durable MAKERX branded Storage Bag. With more than enough room to carry every tool in this bundle, plus lots of pockets and pouches for extra supplies and materials, too. It’s made of lined, heavy-duty, rip, tear and dirt-resistant 600D Nylon, with a zipped closure to keep it all safe inside. Plus, the Accessory Storage Case keeps all the accessories that come with this kit organized. It’s made of hard, transparent polypropylene with latches that snap shut and stay closed during transport. It has extra room for the flexibility to add accessories later as your MAKERX collection grows, and the compartments can be configured by rearranging or removing dividers. Best of all, it fits right inside the storage bag.

MAKERX has created crafting and hobby tools that are smaller, but more powerful—the secret lies in the Hub. It’s a power source that you can take with your tool, so if you want to work in the middle of a large space, you can, and still have the power to get the job done. Thoughtful design allowed Worx engineers to make these tools slimmer, so you can hold them with more precision, and provide a level of detail to your projects that’s not possible with other tools.

Ease Of Use

Speed Control

The MAKERX multi-tool is just the latest of the WORX brand that I've purchased over the years. Very versatile. Great for working on small projects. I build furniture and have used all of the Worx line for easy use, convenience and dependability. And the batteries are long lasting, I've never thrown one out in over 15 years.

Perfect for small projects.

worx.com

Taking advantage of another Worx special offer I was not sure what I might do with this great set. Within days it was put to use making part of the components for a Christmas ornament project. Using the angle grinder to sand the surface of small wood blocks was quick and easy, much better than what could have been done otherwise. Using the Power-Share battery system extends the value of WORX!

Great tool for small jobs

I am a HUGE Worx fan - I have so many items - from trimmer to leaf blower to chain saw, to various saws, flashlights, multi-tool, and so much more which now includes my MakerX items. I just love how easy and convenient they are. I am just a woman homeowner and I have to take care of everything myself and Worx helps me do that!!

I'm a Worx fan!

These tools are super useful for doing small projects - I got rid of my corded tools (mfr begins with "D") in favor of these, and they are so much better! I have replaced all of my power yard tools, power hand tools and power hobby tools and replaced them with WORX powershare - they are the best, easy to use and super reliable!

Better than other name-brand tools!

I see real possibilities for these tools. I sometimes use power tools for my woodcarving, but am confined by the need to plug them in. The rotary tool and the mini angle grinder offer real portability and flexibility to be able to carve anywhere. I really purchased this set for the extra battery for my Worx outdoor tools, it was such a great deal, I couldn't pass it up. Several of my friends have already asked to let them know if there is ever another deal like this again.

Great Portability

My Worx collection continues to grow and does not disappoint. I recently added some MakerX tools and will undoubtedly add more. The convenience of these tools and the battery system is unmatched. Being able to control the battery's power is a unique feature that really helps dial in the right mix of power and speed.

More Great Worx Tools Added to my Collection

Quality Tools, have many of them from large to small tools

Easy to use with great instructions

I really like all the worx products I've received over the years and I have quite a few. Reliable tools that I count on

Rotary tool and grinder

The tools come with accessories that are sufficient for my purposes. Although it is called cordless, they still need to be connected to the battery when use them. This is the reason I did not give it a five-star.

Good tools

The moto tool was pretty good...fast rotation speed, light, easy to handle from all directions.
The cutting tool, didn't care for it. If you place the cutting wheel on a hard surface, the motor shuts down. If the designers could fix this, it would be a great buy.

Not terrible but...
