Ease Of Use

Blade

Never had an oscillating tool so I took advantage of the lower price for this "tool only" product.  Used it for the first time recently and it did a great job.  It is lightweight and easy to handle. I was able to complete my project quicker than I expected.

great tool fit my hand perfect

I bought this tool because I have arthritis in mr wrists that makes scraping painful. The Sonicrafter makes scraping effortless. It is simple to operate and takes standard universal attachments.

It gets into tight spaces:  trims, cuts, sands things you absolutely cannot get near with anything else.  I've got a kitchen remodel, workshop remodel, and several other projects that this tool makes easy.   It's an essential component of my shop.

The second one the head will not lock in place blade will turn to the left or right as you try to cut with it. Now the third one is doing the same thing. What can I do now?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the EX696L multi tool when it was on sale and thought I got a good deal. The tool sat in my workshop for a long time until used it. It worked great for about 6 cuts. Then it started making horrific noises and wasn't cutting. It seems the shaft that connects the motor to the chuck has broken….. now I have a very pretty rechargeable paper weight…..
