I bought this to go with my MakerX set. It is a wonderful edition, I am enjoying not having to worry about the battery running out anymore. It's wonderful to be able to switch seamlessly between tools when I'm making something. This is the best cutter for wrapping paper I've ever used. It's also great for breaking down boxes and opening those savage plastic clamshells that usually take forever are now easy to open. I love this rotary cutter. One issue, When I received the cutter, the cutting wheel had been installed incorrectly. Once I fixed that wrong installation, it's been working like a champ.

Bought the 5 tool special & decided to add the rotary. I wasn't sure how often I would use it. I've had it a couple of weeks and have found at least a dozen things to use it on. Very versatile.

Odd end jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rotary cutter tool works great for cutting down boxes. It got a lot of use after my move.  The blade stayed sharp the whole time.  The cutter cuts quickly and with precision.  I also tried this out on light plastic.  It did cut that as well, but not as swiftly as the cardboard.  You need the cordless battery and charger to operate this so be sure to buy that as well.  This is a great, lightweight tool.  Highly recommend!

Great for lightweight cutting!

It is very lightweight and easy to use. Just plug it into the power pack and go. It has enough power to use for small jobs . Good product, very satisfied.
