Bought these camera to update my v2's.  I had already hardwired the power on v2's through my garage walls and the new OGs accepted the plugs perfectly.  The nighttime resolution on these are amazing with or without using the built in spotlight. I would recommend these cameras for new or upgrade equipment.

Excellent Cameras

Set up was easy and the video quality is astounding. I love that the unit turn on a bright light when it senses motion. I enjoyed using Wyze cams for years and really miss the free service of seeing my videos from the past week. Now I used the MSD cards and use them as live views. Thank you again.

Great quality at a great price.

I've been with Wyze since around 2018. They have come a long way since then and I now have probably 15 cameras set up through them. They sent an email a few years back asking for support because their free cloud service was actually costing them a lot of money. They offered a pay what you can program. I signed up to pay the normal amount to "do my part" to help them stay in business. I now have updates any time a person, package, car, animal, anything moves in front of my camera. You can customize them anyway you want. You can talk through them, play back SD card footage, ect. For the price, this is the best. Oh and the colored night vision is INSANE. I can not even tell that it is night time most of the time when I'm watching.  I also got my father-in-law 5 of them for his property and he loves them too.

Absolute best bang for your buck in Wi-Fi Cameras.

Cameras are excellent for deduction, audio detection and event storage. The setting was awkward to reset comprehensively.  i would re-buy because I know how to operate now. Recommend keeping at least one on battery backup if you're prone to electrical outages.

Great for Coverage

Originally bought this camera for use at a senior assisted living apartment to keep an eye on Dad. Impressed with how it worked I then bought 2 more for my house. I also have the DuoCam doorbell at the front of the house and OG in the backyard . Only issue I have is the notifications are delayed slightly, a few seconds, but the quality of the video recall on the SD cards is spot on.

Great cameras for minimal surveillance

That flimsy tube that connects to the camera cube breaks from looking wt it the wrong way. It is not reailient to any level of pressure and only allows rotation on one direction, opposite the locking direction of the base; so it is only designed for flat horizontal surfaces

Break on joint easily

I'm not happy because most of the cameras I have purchased initially have broken and have had to be replaced. I guess you are like all the other companies. Planned obsolescence!!! I would not recommend your product on a new project because you will have to replace the cameras when you the company decide that you want or need to sell more cameras. Very poor quality cameras if I didn't have 10 running and the power cables run I would switch.

Don't waste your money! This camera is a real live “bobble head!” It won't stay still and focused on what's moving. It bounces up and down and I have to manipulate the arrows in the opposite direction from where I want it to go. It will make u have motion sickness! It wasn't even worth the little bit of money I paid for it.

WASTE OF MONEY!

I don't do tech well.  I purchased one and have used for a few years. No issues.  I purchased this and accessories. I can't get it to work.  I looked up the solution and it said it is not compatible with with My other wyze camera 
 That's why it doesn't work because I own another one of Your products?

Very unhappy.

I purchased both the OG cameras and the V4 both required a subscription, I did not want, I sent both back to Wyze , with a letter saying that your policy has changed without noting that. Very disappointed. I have several V2 & V3 , so do friends, I let them know and they are also disappointed. We all stopped using Wyze now. SORRY.!
