For an inexpensive way go sharpen pencils, this is the way to go. I like the little window that you can open and empty the shavings. The eraser is very handy.

Love this handy little shape nervous very handy for a great price.

Very convenient & handy

Sharpens a variety of pencils with a little careful tilting. Don't really use the eraser.

Elmer's X-Acto Pencil Sharpener with Eraser

The product I received was all blue with one corner all white (which is the eraser). The sharpener itself is pretty nice. There is a cover over the sharper area to keep the shavings inside, which I like. You will have to empty it at least once a pencil, maybe twice if sharpening one that has not been sharpened before. I have sharpened 12 graphite drawing pencils & 24 colored pencils with the small sharpener & it performed beautifully.

Only thing I don't like about it was after sharpening my graphite pencils the graphite covered the eraser tip on the sharpener & made it really dirty. I have not been able to remove the graphite from it & tried erasing with it & it just balled up & smeared the graphite. I really do not care about the eraser because I use a separate one, but I feel that the sharpener does not really need an eraser on it.

Not the sharpest result on pencils. For the price, could have had a compartment for shavings, too.

After this sharpener broke three straight pencils, I gave up and threw it away.   It's a pencil destroyer not a sharpener.
