My son really wanted this and I literally got him to do all of his choirs, practice his music, and all his school work consistently for a month for him to get it. Once he did get it.. it was a slight nightmare at first given how many darts it can hold but once we discussed better ground rules on where it can be used he and his friends have a blast setting up fortresses of pillows and going back and forth with each other in hallways and such. It really is a lot of fun but this one is kind of bulky since it has the large magazine that can hold so many bullets and there isn't a motor to autofire so it can be a bit tiring after 20-30 minutes(which is great for me frankly). Loading it is fast and easy though and seems like a pretty good buy. It is also part of a larger collection that includes a mini gun and such.

My great grandson was having his 7th birthday.  When I asked him for a hint about what he would like to get for his birthday, he said a Minecraft Nerf gun.  When I was shopping on line and saw this, I knew it was special.  He told everyone it was his favorite present at the end of the day.  This Gigi is very happy with her purchased.

Great Nerf dart gun. Lots of fun. Do advice to get kids eye protection for those I'm unavailable face shots.

Grandson loved it

Was purchased for my grandson's 12th bday. While we were on video chat he was able to assemble and play with item with ease. The gun looked sturdy in original packaging. He hasn't broken it yet... so I am assuming it is sturdy enough. I wish it came with a small pouch for quick storage/clean up. He sent me a picture of a small handgun version. Imagine how surprised he was whe he saw this big sucker.

Thiis gun is a great value as is all the xshot stuff.  if you can pick it up on sale I would recommend it along with the rest of the xshot insanity line.
