The quality is good, but I use these controllers for thousands of gameplay hours and they wear out faster than the standard, cheaper controllers.  The feel of the product is far superior and I am willing to pay extra for the better experience despite it failing sooner.

I understand if folks aren't willing to spend this much for a controller that will only last 600 hours, but to me the better experience is worth the extra money.

This is my 4th elite series 2 controller and I would continue to recommend them to people who can afford it.

Great Experience - You'll Need to Replace

I thought there was no way this controller could be very much better than my last controller aside from the built in rechargeable battery, but I was wrong. This controller is awesome, the specs are definitely worth the price point. I originally just got this one because of the battery but its much more than that. It is extremely customizable, you can even physically adjust the controller itself. Overall amazing product definitely worth it. Would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised with the controller vs others

This is the first elite Xbox controller. I've owned, but it is probably my favorite just because of the color. I ordered some aftermarket buttons for it to complete the kit and it's quality and customization. Options are way better than an aftermarket this is the first elite Xbox controller. I ordered this controller at 9am, and the controller was at my front door step by 12:30pm the same day. I bought this controller as a cheaper option to buying an elite controller with paddles. I bought the paddles separately. Product works great and came just as shown.

great controller for the price. mine was brand new, not used like ive seen some reviews for it. Ive also seen people complain about the accessories not coming with it, if you went through all the pictures you would see this is the core version not the full version. henceforth explains why it doesnt have accessories. If you need the accessories they literally sell them on Amazon for a very affordable price.

I purchased for my 29yo son and he loves it i also purchard steelseries headset and with both I'm now a forgotten mom .LOL  I used to get mad like other parents that he was always on, but also came to term that it helped with socializing, anxiety and stress. He has friends that he has played with for over 15  yrs from all over the world.

A gamers dream

Great controller for the money. Have had many different elite controllers. Still have stick drifting issues later on. Sometimes between 6 months to a year, although thanks to xbox making it possible to recalibrate the sticks, drifting issues can be minimized.

The only controller I use.

I love these controllers but this is my 6th one in 3 years, I play roughly 5 times a week for 2-3 hours and after 8-9 months max(usually around month 5-6)I have to buy another one because of either stick drift or it's the LB button sticking or it's been one of the X, Y, B, or A buttons sticking, please fix the stick drift, it's been a known issue for years

The controller overall is pretty good it's nice to have a charge battery that's part of it. 
The only downside to this controller is of us about a year and so they get stick drift and slowly stops functioning sometimes it starts within the first few months and sometimes it waits too longer we've bought quite a few of these and some are just better than others I'm not sure why that happened probably just didn't delivery and such. the perk that you get is a battery that's permanently in there that is chargeable. in the beginning when you first get it it lasts for about a day and a half maybe two days depending how much you play but the more you have it the more you have to charge it. 
it's still a decent controller.  these issues are well known for Microsoft controllers.

good for the money

These are expensive controllers that I would expect to last for at least two or three years. I    have owned four of them and find stick drift to be an unwelcome recurring issue, The layout and features are fine when everything is working as it should.

Do not ever buy this protection plan from Walmart or Allstate/square trade ever. Their claims process is a sham. I say this because I sent in my elite controller as the left joystick was damaged. It took over two weeks for them to process their next steps after I sent my item in and what did I get in return?….someone else's used Xbox elite controller. The serial number does not match my original serial number and what is on my plan. Keep in mind I sent them my original box with charging cable two joysticks and the control pad button. What did I receive a bear controller with no joysticks and no control pad button. Just the controller wrapped in bubble tape and a plain box no charging cable no original box that I sent nothing.

Do not buy! Allstate / Square trade is a scam
