only thing that could make it better would be if it came with a rechargeable battery built in.
it does last FOREVER on the AA's though.

Almost Perfect

replacement for grandson, he can't go without his game. came fast and set up easy. he was playing in no time and happy. no complaints from him, so well worth the money.

So far so good ! I have purchased 2 more of these in the past and they didn't last 3 months till they would go haywire on me. Hopefully this one will last awhile longer! Nothing worse than spending high dollar amount on electronics and they die on you  month later!

switched from nintendo controller to this controller for mobile gaming. you just turn on the controller and android call of duty recognizes the controller instantly. the buttons are very , to put it simply , kind of pointy and dare i say sharp? its very hard to get used to compared to backbone/nintendo phone gaming devices. in the long run i am hoping it actually ends up equaling better aim/performance with such pointy, bony analog sticks and buttons.

A great affordable option, with my experience however, it is quickly susceptible to joy stick issues the more it is used. I love that it comes in all different colors. With that being said this is my third purchase of the product and I will continue to use this controller.

Great Option!

I'm a very casual gamer so can't attest to how much better the elite controllers are. For my use, this controller seems perfectly useable. The buttons, triggers, connectivity all seem perfect. I use rechargeable AA batteries and they seem to last a very long time in between charges.

This newest generation of controller seems very prone to stick drift (-1 star). My previous controller lasted just over 1 year of light use (probably used 2 hours per week) before developing stick drift.

Nice controller, but stick drift issues

It's a discount Microsoft game controller, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
It would have gotten 5 stars, but existing non-console support is a bit spotty.
Ergonomically, I like it a lot. Feels as good or better than the more expensive Xbox controllers. Whether or not it holds up over time remains to be seen.

Discount Xbox controller, tradeoff is worth it

Microsoft makes the best working controllers on the market. The problem is, they don't work for very long and are probably engineered to fail. This is the second exact controller to fail for exactly the same reason in less than three months of gentle but lengthy usage.

I haven't even had this controller a week and it's already acting up. What a rip off. It's probably going to end up going back real soon if this doesn't straighten out by itself. Hopefully it's just a new thing. Walmart is really lowering themselves lately with their items
