Plus it's a laser printer so the toner lasts longer. With the ink printers, I print so infrequently that every time I'd print, the ink would be dried out. This is much better

I had held off by a new printer and all I needed was a good, solid black and white printer for daily use. I found it. My new Xerox b230 is exactly what I wanted and it has never disappointed me. Always ready and instant response. My family is so surprised that they can print from wherever they are on the house. The wireless feature is fantastic. I knew I could count on Xerox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used HP printers for years, but they were consistently inconsistent--one day they would be working fine, then the next they would randomly stop responding and would require troubleshooting. We tried the Xerox B230 printer as an alternative. So far, they have been a breath of fresh air compared to the HPs. They have been reliable, much easier to install and configure, and take up less space than their HP counterpart. My only small complaint with the Xerox B230 is that its out-of-the-box default print setting prints a bit light; however, adjusting the toner darkness setting solves this problem well enough.

Great Little Printer!!

I bought this about a month ago for my office. It was easy to setup and get it going. The toner it came with said it would last 750 pages. About 75 pages in, I got an error that the toner was empty. By no means was I printing heavy or full pages, just normal text. I can say that the image quality of text isn't the greatest. It's okay for day to day use, but my HP and even much cheaper Brother laser printers print far superior text quality. Overall it's not bad, but if you are looking for crisp text or image printing, this is not the printer for you.

Decent printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] XERO I purchased XEROX printer.  Considering the complexity of today's electronics, I also purchased professional guidance and assistance.
1.  When attempting to install printer, I encountered very, very serious problems.  The initial instructions advised: Use a kit.  available on-line.  I did.  I found it as hard to match the kit with the printer's instructions as I had trying to install the printer.  I regret using this word, but the printer in my opinion. was useless.

I turned to XEROX, the company.  The refused to assist claiming that the ID number was not a XEROX number, therefore, no help, 

2.  About those helpers, I paid for:  Read their reviews.  The reviews are on-line.   My impression was frustration.  I'd phone.  A robotic voice promised to get back to me.  WalMart's  professional team, something.  I paid for, did  not return my call.  

My recommendation:

Do not buy XEROX B230
