Great firewood

I bought a couple packs and im buying more.  These logs dont have a means to easly light them but a little paper or scrap wood works easy enough.  I use a barrel stove and put the log laying on each other and as they burn the light the next one and so on.  You dont get a superhigh flame, but i stack 3-5 at one time and it gets my barrel up to over 600 degrees.

why its cheaper

Hard to light and do not stay burning for two hours like promised

These logs are advertised as being made of 100% recycled hardwood so contain no chemical additives or paraffin. That's all fine and wonderful until you buy them and read the instructions telling you that you need to use fire starter to light them and keep them lit. How's that for a chemical additive! We couldn't have a fire the first night of our trip; we hadn't bought any fire starter as it wasn't noted as required in any of the product information when we purchased the logs online. You need to use 3 logs at a time and they will absolutely NOT light or stay lit without the chemical additive of fire starter. NOT ecological at all.
