The auto lock feature gives us peace of mind at night, no last minute “did we remember to lock the front door!?” panics🤣 The lock is also invaluable for our pet sitters and babysitters, we can give each their own code, and learn when they go in and out of the door. We did upgrade our lock to include Wi-Fi - would highly recommend you doing the same!

FYI download the app first, the steps in the video of the install were way easier to follow than the book that comes in the box. And yay it's pretty cool!!! Also the kit didn't come with the wifi attachment… so I ordered that and will be excited to use my watch to unlock, lock from outside of the home, and so forth! Yay! Thank you Influenster this is awesome!!!

Yale Deadbolt Lock

hardware is ok, software is so so... you can clearly see that company doesn't care much about the software, it is buggy, usability is cumbersome, etc.

Software needs a lot of work.

Neither of the units I bought worked with any of the phones we tried for setup. The app (which is the only way to set them up) did not function properly on Android or iOS. Even returning them has been difficult, so I cannot recommend trying this lock.

A Very Poor Customer Experience

I really wanted this lock to work.  When it works, it's great.  But reliability is important for a lock, and this one has failed.  I've only had it for a month and today, when leaving the house, it refused to lock.  Made lots of beeps and the keypad was dead.  So I literally could not lock the door from outside.  Had to spend 40 minutes on the phone with tech support to take it apart, disconnect wires, reboot it, and then re-enter in all of the passcodes into the app.  Now it works again, for now.  Would not recommend it unless you have lots of time to spend on the phone with tech support.
