The Yakima OffGrid roof cargo basket provides a secure way to carry and transport bulky gear on vehicles equipped with roof rack crossbars. Designed for outdoor travel, camping, overlanding, and daily hauling, this steel cargo basket keeps equipment outside the vehicle while maintaining interior space for passengers. 

The basket features heavy-duty steel construction with a corrosion-resistant powder coat for long-term durability in rain, snow, dirt, and road salt. An integrated front fairing helps reduce wind noise and drag at highway speeds, making it suitable for daily driving and long road trips. 

A universal quick-release mounting system allows fast, tool-free installation on most factory and aftermarket roof rack crossbars. Compatible crossbars include Yakima, aerodynamic bars, round bars, square bars, and many OEM factory systems. The basket supports a 24- to 34-inch crossbar spread, making it compatible with a wide range of vehicle roof rack systems including SUV, crossover, wagon, truck, sedan, hatchback, and minivan. 

The open basket design supports tools, folding canopy tents, storage bins, totes, boxes, duffel bags, and suitcases, helping manage weight for traveling through wilderness terrain. Adjustable accessory bars are included to support Yakima bike racks, ski carriers, kayak mounts, and other roof rack accessories. The bars can be repositioned or removed to accommodate longer or taller loads. 

This roof mounted cargo basket helps organize and haul essentials for ski travel, overland builds, and family trips. Optional accessories such as cargo nets, tie-down straps, locking cores, and basket extensions can be added to increase capacity and security.
