Setup process is straightforward and minimal.

Offers significant discounts compared to others.

Pretty decent system. The system fills a 500sq ft room very well. Could upgrade the speakers later. The sub however has more than enough power, I keep it set around half way. 

Setup was as easy as stripping the end off the provided wire and running it. Depending on your setup this is the most difficult part. 

For the price you really can't get much better.

It can take a bit of work to set this up, but we are enjoying it, and it comes with all the features we needed for our home theater.

Some setup required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sounds fantastic!  This system was about the least expensive 5.1 surround. It sounds incredible especially when compared to my previous soundbars. Great value. 
I have a 10 year old TV with only two HDMI ports and no ARC. This receiver lets me hook up Xbox, switch, fire stick, and Blue Ray. 
Only down side, Fed Ex. Was two days late. It was sitting in a local warehouse for two days. 
Price was $30 less than Amazon.

Powerful, clear audio system

movie time.

I just want to sayOMG! This thing is amazing. If you like going to the movies and enjoy the great sound then you'll want this in your home. The sound makes it seem like you at the theater. I would definitely recommend this to all who enjoy watching movies and have great sound. Drawback. The higher you have the sound up the hotter the system gets. It should have come with a fan built in it. No problem for me . I mounted and small computer fan on mine. Keeps it nice and cool

LOVE IT!!

I purchased this to replace my 481 yht  its not as powerful as my 481 reciver .both have 260 watts..
 If  choice was made  it be 481 yht much more powerful.....why?? Is my question   .481 u can run cordless speakers  very neat. Why did yamaha discontue the 481  reciver.. i cant use my celing speaker  put through my home now.. 7 speakers now useless.. really  not happy   ..i could walk through my home listen enjoy  music  now i cant   ..disapointed....
