Ease Of Use

This weed puller is amazing. No need to bend over, this puller does all the work and actually pulls out the whole root. Wonderful.

I bought this for a girlfriend and we both tried it out.   It IS VERY sturdy but it takes some muscle to make it work.

Exactly what I was looking for. Not bulky. So easy to use.....and fun!

Yard Weeder

I was looking for something that would keep me from getting on the ground as I pulled weeds. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked for me. The ground should be moist especially if you have clay soil. It is important to center the weeder in the middle of the weed to get the entire weed. The ejector button doesn't always eject the weed but I can live with that as I only have to pull it out of the claw. I have many weeds that overlap each other and sometimes I have trouble getting the center of the weed but as I continue to do this on a more timely basis, I believe that won't be a problem in the future. It does leave a hole in the ground about the size of a ping pong ball but I'd rather have that than the gigantic weed! So overall, I am happy with my purchase as it keeps me from having to get down on the ground and the weeder is relatively easy to use.

Rocket Weeder...Worked better than I thought

The rocking motion really helps.  Cannot use it next to concrete or in rocks.

When I bend it it pops right out. Dont have to twist

After reading many reviews in hopes of getting a quality product I chose the Yard Butler which had lower cost and appeared the have same features as those more expensive. 
- difficult pulling larger weeds
- difficult aligning tongs around weed
- longer tongs might grab more
Further use might make it user friendly and more affective.

Could be better

It is built very sturdy, but the part that goes down into the ground need to be longer because it doesn't get all of the root.  I tried it on dandelions, but still had to use a small shovel to get up all the root.

Needs longer part to go down into ground

This is not long enough to pull out any roots, so you're just wasting time pulling the top part/leaves off as they will grow right back. I was previously using the Fiskers which worked great, but it had plastic in the design and ended up breaking. I thought this would be a great replacement since it has an all metal design, but I have tried this on about 20 or so dandelions and similar weeds and haven't pulled out a single root yet. The tongs at the bottom aren't sharp or long enough to dig deep enough to pull out an entire weed...only the above ground portion. I have stopped using it completely and it's just a fixture in my garage at this point. It's not worth the time using it. Wish I would not have spent money on it.
