[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been waiting for months to have a chance to use this snowblower and we finally got enough snow this week. He  did all the sidewalks and driveways on our side of the street and it worked great and in a fraction of the time shoveling would have taken. He loves it.

Makes quick work of snow removal

Don't think this is some cheap knock-off because of the name Yard Machines. This is built by MTD in the USA, a company that makes the same machine for brand names.  MTD makes many yard type machines like lawn mowers and 2 stage snow blowers for brand names.  Parts are available many years later and the designs are simple but work.  This is a single stage machine for relatively light snow removal, but I easily moved 5 plus inches of wet snow.  I believe this machine will handle a foot of snow or more (dry or semi-dry).  It's mainly for fairly level driveways and sidewalks because it is not self-propelled.  You push it.  No single stage gas blower is self-propelled. Because this is not a brand name, I saved over $100 off the same machine with a brand name on it. Free shipping too!  Great deal. I would recomend this to friends looking for a light duty blower.  If you need heavy duty, get a two-stage gas blower.

I love it...a real work saver.

Having owned the "top of the list" Toro for the last 7 years, I was thoroughly unimpressed by its performance, cost and efficiency at being able to survive a season.  So, i decided to go with the best, cheapest Snow Blower available, that being the Yard Machines 123cc...Living in WI has some good snow storms, and some easy ones. This winter has provided both and the Yard Machines 123cc has powered through. Although it is not a 2-stage thrower, it does clear a driveway down to the concrete, and can be done in less than 20 minutes (6 inches of snow in a driveway that holds 8 cars, and reasonably wet snow)...Now remember, it cannot do the whole width of the snow blower at this level, but it did not get stuck when taking 2/3 the width and using that to power through.  Easy to set up, put together, add oil (need mini funnel), add gas and start...No worries here, even for a person that is not handy, like me...Remember, it is a small snow blower with a mighty engine that is NOT a 2-stage snow Thrower...you will not get 40' distance on your clearing.

Gets The Job Done and Reasonable Set-Up

Looks to be built well

Bought this for under $300.  It was easy to assemble.   The unit is very lightweight and maneuverable.  Just used it on 2 inches of wet, slushy sleet with no problems.  Had to take my time with the heavy stuff at the end of the driveway, but it still cleared everything.  Looking forward to the next storm!

Worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was easy to assemble, but the bracket on the side where the handle fits was bent badlly, had to straighten it out before installing handle, operators manual does not match this blower. having used it yet gonna take it to thge garage and start it.

up in the air

I just pulled this out of the box today and it looks like it had been returned before.  It has scratches on the top and the wheel axle is bent on the left side.  Started it up and seems to run and operate OK.  Will be able to tell in the next couple of days after our 6" of expected snow.

Disappointed out of the box

This snowblower was easy to set up and get running. However, I'm pretty unhappy at how it clears snow. I understand its a single stage blower and how much it can handle, but this had a hard time getting rid of about 4-6 inches of normal snow. It would stay clogged even after using some silicon lubricant spray in the chute. After about 20 minutes of using it the first time, the engine seized and the pull cord was impossible to pull to start it back up. I used the oil that was provided and used the correct amount. Id say buy this blower only if you need it for very light snow for a small driveway or walkway, but if thats the case just shovel it and save money. If you have a space that requires decent snow removal and you live in an area that gets some decent snow (like me in the north east), just spend the money and get a good two stage blower that will actually work.

Dont bother

One side of handle didn't fit. It had a odd bend; don't know if it was bent or if it was made that way. Had to adjust to attach that size of handle. Machine has a cheap feel. Only had snow to use a couple of times so I can't judge on the performance.
