instructions aren't details but easy to follow. If you need to drill the holes out for attaching to a 4x4 the post with carriage or lag bolts ..  do it slow and do not go too large. Be careful for the hot chips sting bare arms. Wear safety glasses too.  Concrete your post into the ground and let it sit overnight for the concrete to cure. Cast Iron is detailed and easy to put together. being a sand casting form it did have some flaws on one of the detail side.  The price is good and reasonable.
