[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had these tires installed and haven't had them for a long time but so far so good. They are smooth and quiet and seem nice.

Exeptionnal handling in emergency avoidance manoeuver, low noise, strong grip, not bad at all for snow (early spring & late fall), very good in rain, confortable and ... durable !  I put a second set on my wife's car and ... still in love with these tires. Yokohama tires are simply the best. Keep in mind that tires are what is keeping on in contact with the road. I strongly recommand these tires.

As I'm very particular about road noise, I can confirm that after 7,000 Km, these tires are quiet as ever.  Before I had Continental, Bridgestone and Pirelli tires.  Pirelli P7 was so quiet I thought I hit the jack pot. But after about 3K they turned noisier by the day.  These Ascend GT however sound as quiet as day 1.  Corners are solid and they grip on wet roads with confidence.  When I drove them on light snow (2 cm) and subzero temperatures,  I noticed that the stopping distance was longer but nothing that worried me.  I can't comment on heavy snow because I put my winter tires on for that. Frankly, if they stay this quiet for 2 more seasons or so, I'll stop shopping for tires and keep buying these.  Recommended!

Superb tire for the money! Bought to replace Michelin Defenders on a 2016 Q5, Have had them on for about 4 months now and I can say without a doubt this is a far higher quality tire and beyond what I expected.  From the get-go, far better turn in and straight line stability, very quiet, enhanced road feel (Noticeably improved the handling and steering dynamics, which is very surprising to see from an all-season in this category and price range). Great wet handling too and difficult to hydroplane. This was also my first time "testing the waters" with Yokohama, I've had many different high-end tires on my vehicles over the years but have never been "wowed" by a tire like this, so much so we're buying a set of the Ascend GT's for our 9-5 wagon, if your considering this tire and weighing your options, get it! you wont be disappointed.

Purchased 2 months ago to replace the factory Michelin Primacy MXM4 that came with my '18 Ford Taurus.  Ride is smooth and quiet, and handling is great in normal and wet conditions. 
Will definitely look into Yokoyamas when I need to replace my winter set.

They drive well in wet and dry conditions. Cornering was decent and also was quiet. Not much noise in my opinion vs Dunlop brand that I had when I bought my car.

I like the quality, always get what want from Walmart.

I really like the avid ascend tires. I had the same tires on my Acura years ago and they performed very well. The handling in rain is very good as in dry conditions.

Quiet, good handling, traction and not wearing too quickly. I feel as though I am in control, even when on the highway. Finely, the price was right!

I have done almost 1000km with this tyre and I am extremely disappointed. The road behavior is correct, but it is extremely noisy. This tire is roaring and making more noise than my winter tires.

Very disappointing tyre. Unbelievably noisy tire.
