Graphics

well let me begin by saying i still have my super nintendo with this game and the graphics were beautiful then but omg did they turn up the heat this game a top 5 ds game for sure you will be happy with the purchase i sure was and could not put it down...enjoy

I just bought this game, I have to say it is very fun. It might look like a easy, family friendly game, which it is, but the challenge comes when each level gives you a grade at the end. Getting 100% on each level can be quite challenging & it does add the the replayability. This is a great game for your DS collection.

Yoshi Island DS doesn't disappoint

This game is the best game for you if you like mario games. You get to travel through 3 worlds and accommplish miniature games along the way. As you get on to the next world the levels get more challenging. But, if you try and try and try, then try again, you can do it. I recommend this game to anyone 9 and up. If you aren't sure to get this game, just click the order button, and don't change your mind, because it is a really great game.

Funest Game Yet!

I got this for my birthday in advance so I was so thrilled! This is game is all I'm asking for to spend my time in my 13-hour flight to my hometown in Philippines. Don't doubt this is the cutest and greatest game ever! I would recommend Kirby but I think this is much cooler than that.... but Kirby is awesome too... don't hesitate to get it!

THE CUTEST DINOSAUR IS BACK!

I was a little hesitant in buying this game because it looks childish from the cover, but in all reality it is a very challenging game. One of the better games for DS. Every level gives you a grade at the end and it is challenging to acquire a 100 percent for each level. This is a great game.

fantastic

This has turned out to be a very interesting and fun game. I haven't gotten the whole way through yet, but I like what I've played so far. The ability to switch through players to reach and achieve certain goals/areas is a neat touch. I grew up with Nintendo and still remember the original Yoshi's Island on Super NES. It shadows the original gameplay very well.

I only have a couple issues with this game. One being the audio and sfx. They are both repetitive. The other being the fact the touchscreen is rarely utilized at all.

Overall I would definatly recommend this product to anyone, Mario franchise fan or not.

Fun handheld game

I got this as a present for my fiance, who is 28 years old. He played this game as a kid on Super Nintendo and hasn't put the game down since I gave it to him!

Excellent product

it is fun i love yoshi he is very quite and babby mario is very quite to this game is fun but some spots i found it very frusterating but i love it and i might get my nice one because she loves mario to i thing that is funney

a very fun game

I really loved yoshis island when it first came out. You wouldnt believe how good it was. I still have the game from gameboy advance. When I saw the yoshis island coming out for ds I was really excited and I thought it would be better than the first one. sadly enough it wasnt. The first one had way better graphics and at the first part of this game I was wondering what the heck was going on. The graphics were more for a gameboy color game. Hey it was cool introducing all the new babies but it seemed like there needed to be more story added to it, and definately more levels! It could have been a epic. The other one had 8 levels. I was sad to see it all end. Since I'm a big lover of snow I hated that there were only 3 levels with snow in it. Come on! They could have made a blizzard or something new like fighting a monster snowman! They could have had yoshi surfing on a tidal wave with shocked villagers looking on. With todays tecqnology they could have added more extras. There was no extra creativity like some other game stocks Zelda and princess peach ds. If your looking for yoshis island get it for advance. Its alot of fun. And still very challenging with great graphics. Believe me I'm a yoshi lover, take my word for it. Its a game mostly for kids, gassing flowers included. I still give it a b+

Ok Game!

Wow! i agree with that other reviewer. its a great game, and i havent got through the game yet, but i like what ive experienced so far. Its a great game to play with family and its not to hard to learn. It is great that you get to switch babies, but other than that this version could be a gameboy game. i would definitely recommend this to everyone!
