Read a LOT of the reviews before we purchased so there were no surprises - knew what we were getting. Great option if you are on a budget. All parts accounted for and nothing damaged. Absolutely need two people to put it together. We took our time assembling over a whole weekend (much to my son's impatience). Was worth it to make sure it was correct and secure. Purchased a 6in mattress to go with it and that thickness seems perfect. Appreciated all the tips about using a pool noodle on the ladder. The bars are thin and can hurt feet a little. We had that ready to go. Meaning = purchase your noodle ahead of time!! You'll need to cut it and slide onto the ladder rungs while you are assembling. It made a big (comfort) difference and added some fun color that my son picked out. My 7 year old is in love with his 'nest'. Highly recommend.

So far so good! This is my second purchase of YourZone. My 12 year old and I put the bed together in a little under 2 hours. It was fairly easy. I did use a drill. All pieces were there. 

The bed seems pretty sturdy. I do have jt on hardwood floors. There is a little creaking. I believe it's from the ladder. You could put little sticks in the cracks to calm down the creaks. 

The room is much more spacious also. Delivery was fast.

Pleased with purchase

I purchased this bed for my 7 year old granddaughter. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hours. It wasn't hard, but you have lots of pieces to put assemble. It is great for a small room. My granddaughter loves it. I added the foam noodles to the rungs, which I'd read about in other reviews, makes climbing in and out easier on the feet.

Loft bed

It's a bit shaky to climb up, so it might not appeal to adults. The metal rails are all very thin but they do work, you get what you pay for. We cut pool noodles and zip tied them to the ladder rails so it wouldn't hurt their feet to climb up. If the noodles split just wrap them in clear packing tape.

Wobbly, but works for kids and saves us space.

Got this for my 8 year old son. He loves it and even though it came with the 5" foam mattress, we stuck that on top of my daughter's Bunk bed and used my son's old regular mattress. It is a solid made loft bed and nice that the bed has the ladder on both ends to allow for multiple setups. The bed is solid and it does wabble a little when climbing up into it, but we have his desk under the bed and it helps stabilize the bed. Next to bolting it to some studs, it is not really going to go anywhere. We like it for the money. I would say that if you can get it without the 5" matteress and put that $40 into the cost of a basic $99 twin mattress you will like the bed better. The 5" mattress is reviewed in another listing, and just a quick note, it is okay, but you will want a solid board under it to make it feel the best it can. It is a $40 5" foam (not memory foam) mattress and so it is not a high end mattress. If you don't have high expectations of a $40 mattress, you will not be too disappointed.

Nice loft bed

Simple enough to assemble - a drill makes it a lot quicker than using the little Allen wrench provided in the packaging. 
Two people will really make a difference, as I dropped a side when trying to hold up some bigger pieces and it dented my wood flooring. 

We do like the product - this is the second one we have purchased, as our oldest child has had one for the last year and it's held up well so we bought one for another room.

Metal zone loft bed - good product

My daughter loves this bed. It was very easy to set up. The only downfall is the ladder. The ladder needs to be slanted a little bit and hurts your feet climbing up it. I bought a pool noodle and put them on the ladder. My daughter has her own hideaway :)

Great price

Really like the bed.  Sturdy, nice looking, good instructions, grandkids love it.  Only problem is the poor QC on threaded inserts.  Some were so far out of line that I gave up and just drilled through the post and used a long bolt instead.  Tried to save one by forcing the bolt.  Insert broke loose.  Had to spend 20 minutes getting the bolt out.  First picture shows misaligned insert.  Second picture shows properly aligned insert.

I'd buy it again with the knowledge that there would be some extra work and parts involved.

Nice Bed, Poor QC

Bed was extremely wobbly and unstable. Felt like it was going to collapse. It never did, but the bed made a ton of sound when sleeping in it. It distracted those who slept in it and those around the bed. Would much prefer a wood option that is much more stable. Although Walmart was very generous is allowing me to return it without hassle.

Bad wobbly loft bed, but great return policy

This is not safe. I bought two of these for my 9 and 10 year old daughters. At first they loved this loft but a couple days after screws come off and we find new ones that come loose all the time. I'm sad because they do look great and I wanted to love them but safety is a concern.
