I was very pleased with the quality and value of this box spring.  I had not realized that it had to be assembled until after ordering, but was impressed with the ease of assembly and the quality of the product. I bought this in order to lower the bed for my 88 year old mother, who was having difficulty getting in and out of the bed comfortably. It fit the frame perfectly and the bed is the perfect height.  Very pleased with this purchase.

Well designed, well built, well packaged, well documented. I like the velcro straps spacing the wood slats out, to make it a no-brainer (and no-tools) to install properly. Steel pieces all individually wrapped. Instructions clear and well-written and well-drawn. Hardware all packed on a card, clearly labelled, with spares separately labelled. This foundation works well with our Casper foam mattress, and it meets the 3" maximum inter-slat spacing requirement. Love the low profile also.

Impressive product all around

Comes as a long heavy box, assembly required. Parts list and assembly instructions are detail yet concise. Structural members are strong and of high quality. Connect points fits together easily. After confirming this metal Box Spring will fit inside the metal frame that held our old BeautyRest boxspring, I was able to assemble this metal box spring inside said metal frame. TIP: I thread each bolt in by hand, then screwed them in part way with the provided ratchet wrench. This allowed me to made small shifts of the partially connected box spring to hand thread each bolt in. When all is connected and ready, I tighten the joints.
As the wood slats were made of soft(but strong) wood, we sprayed the slats with a children and pet safe insect killer by EcoLogic, let me air out for 24-hours before using it.
My wife was able to take the whole metal box spring out, fit the cloth cover on and slid the covered box spring back into the bed frame.

arrived a day early, was very easy to assemble. 20 minutes from laying out and identifying parts to finished product. Low profile box spring fit perfectly on the bed frame and brought my new thicker mattress to an acceptable height.

We bought a platform bed and a large mattress, but was still just a little to close to the floor. Box spring made a big difference. Exactly what we wanted, good for the price and easy to assemble. Took 2 people about a half hour. Looks like it'll hold up good.

I thought it was weird that the wood is put on with Velcro most furniture I put together is with nails screws and this was Velcro . Very comfortable. My mattress was on just the frame at first and wasn't comfortable but when I added the box spring it helped. My bed is nice and comfortable

Good product

Pros: Inexpensive and easy to assemble
Cons: the wood slats are VERY flexible. We ordered a king size frame which had one support down the center. Not enough. Luckily the height of the support is 3 1/2". The same size as a 2 x 4 pc of lumber. We added one on each side of the center support and screwed it to the wood slats to hold it in place. Now it's perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture made it look like a king sized boxspring. With no assembly. This is completely false. I'm disabled and there is no way I can do this. Also it's not what I was looking for.
