Don't know why I waited so long!
I'm 81 years of age and have spent hundreds of hundreds on cheap knives that never satisfied my un-professional culinary skills until my Son in Texas turned me on to these knives. I am very satisfied with the results for the first time in my life. The weight and balance and how the knives fit just perfectly in my hand for effortless cutting is first class. Don't wasted money/injury/time (and blood) on cheap knives!

Great knife for the price.  Super sharp right out of the package!  Sure there are better knives out there, but for the price, these are hard to beat!

Love at first slice

I own two different sets of J. A. Henkels cutlery.  The knives in this model/series; Henkels 13860_160 handle well and sharpen easily to a razor edge.
However...
The knives in this model/series; Henkels  17541_200, handle well but don' sharpen well.  Try as I might, I can not get these knives to consistently sharpen or hold an edge.  I'm not sure how I feel about this brand.
