It's a well thought out combination of knives thst cover majority of tasks in the kitchen. Super stoked on the purchase. Really sharp and comfortable grip. Well balanced and handles well. Only problem I encountered was not paying attention and nicking my skin.

Wanted a sharp chef's knife, this set was on sale. Chef's knife was all I could hope for, but it is the paring knife that blows me away. It is so sharp I'm using it way more than I expected

Sharp Knives

I am currently replacing all of the knives I've had for a few years now. I had purchased a block knife set that ended up being less than ideal in quality - especially for the price - so I purchased this pro starter set as an introduction into the Zwilling knife arena, and am relieved to find the quality of knife matches the claims. Of course, they came dangerously sharp, and they feel great in the hand. So far they are a great knife set, and I expect many years of use.

Zwilling Pro 3-pc Starter Knife Set

I chose this set for its German Solingen steel, which is not the hardest in the world, but therefore quite forgiving if multiple people in a household use it (and clean it...). The look is somewhat industrial compared to Japanese brands, but the workmanship is top notch as you would expect. I agonized for quite a while if I should go Wuesthof or Zwilling. Since there is hardly any difference in all the YouTube comparisons, I happily went with the more wallet friendly Zwillings.
I am using my knives daily and I am very happy with the results of my chopping and prepping activities; I actually now really enjoy the "chore", admittedly even the cleaning and hanging them back on the magnetic holder...

Great and robust set

These knives are the best quality and a pleasure to use.  They save a lot of work because they are so well made and cut & chop so well.  They are also beautiful to look at!  I am a hobbyist cook and do a lot of chopping. I own several knives from the Zwilling 4 star line, mostly special purpose: small cleaver, carving knife, boning knife and the small cutting knife for a very long time. These are also excellent knives and are old friends.  For some reason I never bought the chef's knife or serrated so I bought this Pro starter set after waiting too long.  This purchase rounds out my my knife tool chest. I look forward to using them in the future.  They are basics I never had.  I can't believe I waited this long to buy them.

The Starter set I should have bought years ago!!

High quality and performance. We thought we had some decent knives before and have put off buying because of the higher cost but it is worth the extra cost. It’s amazing the difference between what we have now versus what we had in the past. Awesome product for the serious home chef.

These knives are absolutely beautiful! The set was a gift from our wedding registry, so we did a ton of research to make sure that our forever knives were the best, and these certainly are loving up to that!

Highly recommend!

I purchased a block set of knives.  Within two weeks we noticed the rust on the knives.  I reported to the ZWILLING they were really sorry.  They told me to hand wash this prod which I did.  But I did notice right on the box it says dishwasher safe .  Many back and forth emails and the best I got was they were sorry.  It is obvious the company is producing a cheaper product and will not stand behind it.  Think twice before you buy any product from this company! Very disappointed
