Lid is difficult to open and close for users with limited dexterity.

Removes dangerous chemicals, like hexavalent chromium that's in the Columbus Ohio water supply just like in the movie Erin Brockovich. Even comes with a tester to verify the water is pure .000 pure and when you should replace the filter. When you pour glass, if it doesn't show three zeros you know it's time to change the filter.

Buy this!! Its awesome.  We tested our tap water and it had 235 impurities and went right to 0 with this system.  We also tested bottled water which is 0.  This pays for itself in the long run and helps save our environment from all those plastic bottles!!

Why didnt I buy this sooner???

Based on water quality, five stars! Tastes better than Britta. I also LOVE the tester. I tested my cold water before filtering at 150 ppm, and it dropped to zero after filtering. It also helped me discover that the mesh filter in my Kettle was leaching toxins and that my Brita (past filter replacement date) was adding particles to my water, not removing them.)

I saw reviews saying the filter was difficult to attach, but not at all. I suspect they were trying to drop it in from the top the way you do with Brita. But you need to screw it in from the bottom - easy peasy, fits like a glove.

Taking off one star because the batteries in the tester were dead when it arrived. Also the spout on this jug is a bit too narrow and can spill if you tip the jug too quickly. It can also spill if the tap water hasn't fully filtered down to the lower jug portion yet. 

While you can't beat the price of this jug + filter + tester ($21.96), replacement filters are pricey ($18-$20 each).

Overall, highly recommend. I will be ditching my Brita and using ZeroWater from now on!

Great Tasting Water!

No, sorry.  Nothing like the original pitcher I bought a couple of years ago.  No need for batteries , ridiculous. Hard to take apart out of the box.  Water comes out before it's filtered.  I bought 2 and returned the unused one. Terrible redesign!  Would not recommend it.  Give me the old one back..

It works. My well water gave a high number but run thru the zerowater it was 000. However, it has a taste I am not crazy about but it could be that I have only run thru the filter 4 times. It may need more. Anyway, the water is pure and better for me.

It's all about the filter. I finally replaced my 10 cup zero water system for the 7 cup unit. The design of the 7 cup pitcher is barely adequate. The top comes in two pieces that are a challenge to line up properly for a secure fit. Attaching the filters are a challenge as well. It is difficult to align the threads for a secure leakproof fit. But it is really all about their superior filter that purifies my water. That is what is most important to me, but having a better designed pitcher would be ideal.

It's all about the filter.

Really like that I can take this pitcher apart to clean it thoroughly and that it comes with the test kit. The only issue is that the lid to refill it is a horrible fit and nearly impossible to close. I've given up on that since I fill it multiple times daily and just hold it in place when pouring.

Almost a great product

The machining of the pitcher is HORRENDOUS. Really cheaply made compared to Brita. The cartridge doesn't fit well and it took me 30 minutes to screw it properly. Otherwise filter itself was good and did a much better job than Brita. I live by my own and this one filter lasted exactly one month. A bit pricey.

Horrible pitcher

The filters only last about 2 1/2 weeks and are very expensive. After that, the water gets a chemical weird taste. The lid is hard to get off and put back on when trying to refill it and the little silicone gasket falls out sometimes when doing that as well. The filter clogs up like the filter media clogged up and doesn't let water through so you have to take it out and shake it and put it back in. If you have water in the top of it, you were unable to pour out the water that's already in the picture. Would definitely not recommend.  The only reason I keep using it is because it does filter way more contaminants than other pictures on the market and will have to do until I can get a reverse osmosis under the sink unit installed. That is it's only saving grace.

NOT WORTH IT !!!   After 19 days, the reading of the TDS meter is 515 and water tasted very sour.  I talked to ZERO C.S. he said its normal to get 15 GALLONS on a life of ONE FILTER. I saw a couple of other reviews about water becoming SOUR. No satisfaction guarantee, I will not buy another filter and will stop using it. For my money's worth the only usable item left is the TDS meter.  I hope this helps customers thinking to try the product.
