We have been using zero water at home for a couple of years.  I love it, the water you drink is much cleaner and better tasting that what you get from the faucet.

ZeroWater Filters.  In ZeroWater sealed bags.  In ZeroWater boxes.  These appear to be genuine and nothing less.  I will update you here only if they do not perform as they should, volume wise.  But you can have some confidence  buying from these guys.

ZeroWater filters for your health

We have been happily using Zerowater filters for about 8 years. In our most recent purchase, however, we were very disappointed and concerned that 3/8 of the water filters that we purchased produced grey (almost black) water immediately upon installation. We have never seen this before. This is quite concerning, not only due to the high cost of these filters, but from a health and safety point of view. 

When I contacted Zerofilter customer service, I received a curt reply: "Thank you for contacting Zerowater. Please return to seller as we do not ship replacements to Canada." At a minimum, I would have expected some degree of empathy or acknowledgement of these defective products. As a Canadian customer who needed to purchase the item from a third party, we have little to no recourse.

We have also been finding that the quality of the Zerowater pitchers has been deteriorating over time. We purchased a new filter a few years ago and found that the plastic felt very cheap and was therefore hard to clean in all the corners. We also find that the purple-turned-black ribbon that fits inside the inner lip of the lid pops off very easily. 

We are searching for a better and healthier alternative. We encourage you to do likewise.

Watch out for Grey Water
