My dogs absolutely love this fountain! They are drinking a lot more water than they were from their old bowl. The water stays nice and cool, clean and healthy for my pups! It is easy to put together and easy to clean. It also holds a lot of water! I have 2 chocolate labs and I still only need to fill it once a day. Awesome fountain for big and multiple pups to drink out of all day long! I highly recommend this fountain to everyone that wants to keep their best friends happy and healthy!

We have a German Shepherd that likes fresh water. She wouldn't drink much if the water had been sitting out. This solved that problem and both our dogs are now drinking more water. The fountain is easy to use and maintain, and only produces a very soft humming sound.

Dogs love it and so do we!

I really like that it has such a big capacity "bowl", it was easy to take apart to wash and putting it back together was also easy.  The only thing that slowed me down was figuring out which way to put the cord cover back on, probably an extra half minute.  We have such hard water in the TX panhandle that I did use filtered water to give the pump a longer "life" plus the water tastes better.  The pkg. did say to use tap water but they don't know our water.  
The dog and two cats made a wide circle to avoid it for a few hours one of the cats got brave first but now they all like it.   The pump has been very quiet and runs great, there had been a few reviews that said it was noisy.  Very happy with the fountain and the lady at customer pick up was very nice, too.

This can encourage your dog to drink more water if the dog isn't get enough hydration.  Also, it circulates and keeps the water fresh so it doesn't have to be changed and thrown out several times a day

best value out there, low price

I have a multiple pet family. I have tried EVERY fountain no matter what the price. I discovered this at Walmart over 2 years ago and use nothing else since. My dogs and cats all love it and it is so easy to clean and refill. I even use ice cubes in warm weather. It is on 24/7 and I have only had one motor die on me in 2 years. The replacement motor cost as much as this fountain. I order 2 at a time and have them in multiple places in my house.

Tried all but best ever

I bought this for my two Boxers and my cat. The Boxers loved it from the beginning. My cat took a little longer but now loves it as well. I bought the large fountain which is big enough for the two 60+ pound dogs yet the perfect size for the cat as well. It is easy to assemble and the motor is quiet. I would highly recommend!

Great Fountain!

Both senior cats took to it right away and are drinking more water than before which is good as the vet recommended they drink more water. Our dog took 2-3 days to come around to it. It's easy to clean and the pump comes apart for cleaning as well which is important as we have very hard water. I do wish it wasn't all plastic but, it is working well so far!

Great fountain for my cats and dog

I love Walmart but I'm on my second Dog It Fresh & Clear water fountain because the plug gets hot & stays HOT. I unplug it when I leave which negates the benefit of having it in the first place.
Walmart was great about replacing it immediately but the second one has the same problem as the first....PLUG gets HOT & STAYS HOT. Not a good thing.
I'm returning this one as soon as I can buy a different brand for my thirsty dog........

Plug gets HOT!

I bought this last summer for my 4 cats,one of which had kidney disease because I was told it helped entice cats to drink more water. I bought the larger size due to the amount of tiny faces drinking from it per day. It worked great,noise very minimal,easy to put together,and they all liked it! Until 4 months later,when it just stopped working. I bought several different replacement pumps from different places because Walmart didn't carry or was always out of the recommended type. The filters aren't easy to find either,and are half the price of a new fountain after shipping for a pkg of 3. I've been back to a ceramic bowl since October last year(2016)Even with cleaning monthly,as well as changing filters regularly,there was always charcoal bits floating around the bowl. I only use bottled water for drinking,including the cats due to our city water having a horrible after taste,so I know the floaters were from the filter. Won't be getting another one of these

Very cheaply made

I purchased this March 30th and the pump completely died July 5th, no warning it just stopped working obviously defective. (I also purchased the additional 2 year warranty with this but the manufacturer warranty expires at the exact same time so this was a complete waste of money.)

I contacted the manufacturer on July 5th and after 5 days of back & forth of them telling me to try different things (somehow this was supposed to resurrect the pump which wasn't getting any power at all)  they finally gave me the information to return for repair or replacement. 

The catch..... even though it is their defect they will not send a return shipping label so now I am responsible for paying $10.50 to return their defective $20 item.  When did customer service get so bad that this is okay? 

I highly recommend purchasing from a different company as this one has a warranty (not to mention the additional warranty I purchased) that is designed to put you out of pocket in the hope that you don't even bother to make the return. Let's not forget the low quality pump that completely died after a couple months of use. I cleaned the fountain & pump every week and changed the filter every 10 days; this was a beautifully maintained fountain and should have lasted me at least 2 years. Go elsewhere!
